Salon Lucien is Open I Dallas hair salon photographer

As an artist I always love a challenge where my creativity is put to test. I was super excited when Nikki from Salon Lucien called and asked me to photograph their amazing, chic and very unique salon. Of course the biggest delight in photographing the salon were the two enormous white tulip bouquets that were part of the decor that day. White tulips are my utmost favorite flowers and I could not contain my excitement when I saw decor. I think Nikki secretly knew my passion for white tulips :) ..

For those of you that have not heard about Salon Lucien… well you are missing out.. Salon Lucien specializes in hair color and is located at 8411 Preston Rd Suite 102, Dallas Tx 75225. (It is next door to the Preston Center Starbuck, the front door is accessible from Kate Street)

Salon Lucien has complimentary Valet Parking for you as well. So, don’t mess with the parking lots outside just let them take care of that for you. They will have your car ready for you when you are finished with your visit.

Salon Lucien carries Kerastase Products (yay!!!), Kevin Murphy, Moroccan Oil, Mason Pearson brushes and several other products.. Kevin Murphy’s line is an Australian line that is completely Vegan and very Eco-friendly.

Call them and schedule an appointment and you will not be disappointed with their service, customer service and quality of their work.. And of course I will let the pictures tell the story of how exquisite, fresh and luxurious the decor and architecture of Salon Lucien is.

Tiny sparrow foundation….photography for kids with cancer

UPDATE:

So far we have raised $2,300 wow… Thank you soooo much everybody.. We are still about $700 away from even being able to file for the foundation with the IRS.. But I am hopeful that we can do it.. Another great need that we have at this time is a laptop so another person could come in and help me with the emails and keeping track of all the companies we are working on.. Also, they will have to help me maybe design a little book for this families or maybe the Christmas cards. I wish I could do everything but I just can’t… If anybody has a way to maybe get a laptop at a discount price or some other way that we could get it that would be a tremendous help.. Thank you so much for anything you might be able to help with…

********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
First off I wanted to thank everybody for pouring out your love and kind emails to let me know how much the pictures of Kate and baby Walker touched your heart and how you were able to appreciate life more, to appreciate the little things that we so tend to forget. The reality seems to set into every person that was able to watch the slide shows and that is: the time here on earth is borrowed, it is short and it’s unpredictable and we need to treasure every moment we have with our kids..

Kate’s story brought over 1.5 million visitors on my website and so did Walker’s story.. I had no idea the impact these pictures will have on so many of you. I wish I could stop here and continue on with my life.. Nile Peaytt, a songwriter fighting cancer, said it best in one of his emails to me: “you could stop here and be proud…or you can reach more. Hope starts with one person”. And he is soo right I have to reach more and I am reaching for your support and donation to get this organization started. I am working with printing companies that are willing to donate some products for this families and then the amazing Luxecetera design company is donating their services to help me create the branding behind all this.

I have researched the cost of starting a non profit foundation and they are way out my reach ($3,000). I am asking anybody that is willing to help and that has it on their hearts to be part of creating some memories for families struck by the tragedy of cancer (or any other terminal illness) to donate whatever they can so I can get this started..

If you can’t donate anything please spread the word to your friends and family and maybe they can. Like Nile said, hope starts with one person and hope starts with you.

Rock on Kena {Frisco/Prosper child photographer}

The minute I saw Kena’s eyes I just knew I had to take her picture. She is so beautiful with her amazing auburn hair, the little fine yet detailed little freckles resting on her nose, the fairest complexion with just a nice tint of rosiness for extra cuteness… oh and did I mention that when she talks you just melt away.. Her voice is just the sweetest… I am soo happy I was able to take her pictures.. She was quite the model for me and was sooo willing to go along with all my idea.. Kena you rock, girl… :) Thank you Kena, thank you Keely..

summer sun glow {frisco/plano maternity photographer}

I first planned for this maternity session to be at a nice, clean park here around Frisco. Driving around I am always on the look out for new, fun, interesting locations.. so I spotted this little place on my way from the doctor’s office and I knew instantly that I wanted to take Carla’s pictures here.. Easier said than done :) because not everybody likes to walk in tall grass in the middle of a hot, humid Texas summer day.. Well, as I said before I have the coolest neighbors ever and Carla and Steve, even though a bit skeptical about my pick for the session, were willing to go along with my ideas; and Oh my I so hope they don’t regret it… Look at these AMAZING pictures.. Thank you so much Carla, Steve and Anthony…

5 days old bundle of joy {dallas/forth worth newborn photographer}

Talk about a little determined girl… Little B was just 5 days old but she was pretty set that she will do everything on her own terms… No matter how hard we tried to get her to be sleepy she just wanted to be alert and soak in her new surroundings instead.. I don’t blame her; there are sooo many new things all of a sudden outside momy’s belly to enjoy… She did crash finally… and we got some amazing pictures… She is sooo beautiful… Thank you Ronda and grandma for the patience.. Enjoy your little princess.
