A quick preview of a sweet family awaiting patiently the arrival of a new addition to their family. The weather is finally getting cooler around Dallas so the photo shoots are much more bearable. Thank you for a wonderful evening guys, enjoy the little sneak peak!!

Time sure flies by. Last fall I took picture of Kristin and Cody’s wedding and now this beautiful couple are expecting their first precious baby girl, Mayson. I love being part of document such important events in a couples life. Despite the triple digits weather that we have been graced with for the past couple of weeks here around Dallas, we have ventured out on the this overly postponed photo shoot. Cody sure loved to pose for some maternity pictures too so I had to capture that picture for Mayson’s baby book .

And to top it all off, we almost got arrested. Yeap, me and Cody were trying to arrange the blocks on Kristin’s belly while she was laying down. Well, I have to mention that we are in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road with not too much traffic. Out of nowhere this police car pulls in and his fist impression seeing two heads but 3 bodies was that we were really killing somebody . You should have seen his face. . He could only see me and Cody and another body laying down but because we were out in the field he could not see the whole thing so he really thought he is witnessing something else. He was quite relieve hearing that we were doing a photo shoot and we had quite a laugh.

Thank you so much Kristin and Cody. You guys are so amazingly beautiful and your love shows through this pictures. I can hardly wait to meet little miss Mayson here in the next couple of weeks.

I had a slight variation in mind for this session when Andreea approached me and told me she wanted maternity pictures and wanted her family to be included also. Her kids love to paint so I thought it would be sooo fun at the end of our photo shoot to create some art on her belly. Well that’s what happens when you go shopping for paint at Target and you have a huge selection of paint. I bought the wrong kind of paint that was apparently finger paint and it was very sheer and it would not show up on her belly. We found a fix to that and had the kids draw hearts and then put their hand prints on her white tank top. It turned out even better than we planned as now Andreea gets to keep and maybe frame the tank top next to one of these fabulous pictures. What a treasure for any mom to have for when her children are all grown up.

We are so glad we took advantage of the one single bright and sunny day in this long and rainy winter we have been dealing with here in Dallas. We almost thought we might have to cancel the session since the day before the photo shoot it was raining cats and dogs and thought the field would be way too muddy.. But only in Texas, after a long, rainy couple of days the sun came out and dried out all the rain thus allowing us to shoot this amazing maternity session..

We loved shooting beautiful Sara that is expecting a little girl in April.. We can hardly wait for little miss Landry’s arrival and with such a gorgeous mama she is sure to be the most beautiful little princess

I first met Ronda while enjoying a nice, sunny Texas day by the swimming pool.. She had the cutest belly and a body every pregnant woman would envy.. I asked her if she could be my maternity model and I did not realize in how much trouble I would be … I am having a hard time choosing pictures since picture after picture after picture she looks amazingly beautiful… Ronda, we had such a great time today… Thank you so much for your time..
