And with this session I am saying good bye to an amazing year creating so many amazing, timeless and priceless memories that your families will be able to cherish for years to come. Unfortunately, I am not taking any more appointments for this year.. I got a lot of inquiries for sessions for Christmas pictures but the time is just too short to turn those pictures in for Christmas.. I have started booking for the Spring or 2010 and a lot of the weekend are already booked.. If you are interested in getting pictures with the beautiful blue bonnets and also so many other kind of flowers that we have here in the Spring please contact me in advance. My prices will go up at the beginning of the year so if you book till the end of December all the prices for prints and session are still gonna be locked at the old pricing..
In the next few weeks I will be working for Tiny Sparrow Foundation mostly.. and that is taking pictures of kids battling cancer or any other life threatening condition. I will be going to Wichita Falls to take pictures of a 2 year old little brave guy battling an aggressive form of cancer and then this week I will be photographing a little 18 month old little girl close by that has been battling leukemia and now has relapsed. If you know any families that have similar stories please contact me and I will try to make it happen so that their family will have somebody take professional pictures of their child. That’s what Tiny Sparrow Foundation was established for and we would be more than happy to help with that..
So back to my last session.. I realized that I need to brush on my sporting skills after this session .. All the kids were very into sports.. telling me all about the Dallas Cowboys, names and teams they were fans of that to my shame I really did not know much about.. Miley (hope the spelling is right).. the little family dog was so so cute.. OMG I should have taken a picture of her begging for attention while we were taking pictures .. Thank you guys for the fun Saturday morning…
When Grace started singing for me right in the middle of the field I got teary eyes and goose bumps.. Not only is she sooo beautiful but her voice is amazing. She is writing the music and the lyrics for all of her songs and she has actually recorded an album that will come out soon.. One of the pictures I took will be used for the album… I can hardly wait to get a copy of her amazing music. Grace’s mom, Crystal, has a very special place in my heart as she is a breast cancer survivor, like me.. It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with you guys.. Thank you, Thank you.. thank you.. Here are just a few of the amazing pictures that were able to capture Grace’s personality.
I will let the pictures do the talk for this session.. All I can say is WOW!!! Do I have the most amazing looking clients.. Jordan is stunningly beautiful. On top of her beauty she is such a trooper, a bit scared of spiders but only when she sees them.. Well she did lay on the grass and voila no spiders in sight just beautiful pictures ..
I did promise you guys I will put the tutu picture up but there are so many other good ones so i had to pass on the tutu maybe later on … As part of doing a lot of photography of little bitty kids I carry a tutu in my car at all times and I asked Jordan if she wanted to take me on the offer and get a pictures with the tutu. The tutu was quite small but it did fit Jordan around her neck.. A new trend coming up .. We had lots of fun as you can see.. Thank you Jana and Jordan for such an fun, fun session…
Blue bonnet season is here?? Not really.. we still have quite a few months till then but in the mean time.. OMG I could have taken pictures for an entire week of little Zoe and her little bonnet.. I so love that bonnet.. And of course look at Zoe’s eyes to match that bonnet.. Zoe’s two older brothers were as boy as they come but also as gorgeous as they come..
Little did I know that the little things on the ground I have been seeing at this particular location are pecans so in between photo takes we had
The first time I met Emma was about 2 years ago and she had the cutest little voice and oh my curls to die for.. I was amazed how 2 years can by so fast and now she is quite the young lady.. so sweet and polite and brave too .. She jumped over fences, walked though tall grass and even went barefoot in the grass just to get that perfect shot.. The light today was to die for and I could just not put the camera down with such amazing little girl to photograph and the beautiful light.. Enjoy the little preview from today’s session..
Meet little Carson.. Just 4 months old and such a cute, cute little baby he is.. He sure knows how to smile but he loves to be a serious little baby too.. The studio with all the props and shiny floors were much more interesting than my camera so he loved exploring that. He is the first baby I had in a long time that had such an amazing disposition that I did not even hear him cry… Thank you, thank you Amy for coming my way with your beautiful little man… looking forward to photographing him throughout the years to come.. Enjoy the little preview..
Yes it was Halloween all over today. A few fun treats did the trick to get these amazing pictures of little Sarah and big brother Ethan.. I had such and amazing time going back in time when my daughter was 2 and started talking.. Sarah turned two not too long ago and was telling me all about “cocodials” .. Ethan is such a handsome boy and so willing to help me carry my props to the car.. Grammy and Mom thank you for tonight.. I could have not done it without you. Enjoy your precious little ones..
So far we have raised $2,300 wow… Thank you soooo much everybody.. We are still about $700 away from even being able to file for the foundation with the IRS.. But I am hopeful that we can do it.. Another great need that we have at this time is a laptop so another person could come in and help me with the emails and keeping track of all the companies we are working on.. Also, they will have to help me maybe design a little book for this families or maybe the Christmas cards. I wish I could do everything but I just can’t… If anybody has a way to maybe get a laptop at a discount price or some other way that we could get it that would be a tremendous help.. Thank you so much for anything you might be able to help with…

First off I wanted to thank everybody for pouring out your love and kind emails to let me know how much the pictures of Kate and baby Walker touched your heart and how you were able to appreciate life more, to appreciate the little things that we so tend to forget. The reality seems to set into every person that was able to watch the slide shows and that is: the time here on earth is borrowed, it is short and it’s unpredictable and we need to treasure every moment we have with our kids..
Kate’s story brought over 1.5 million visitors on my website and so did Walker’s story.. I had no idea the impact these pictures will have on so many of you. I wish I could stop here and continue on with my life.. Nile Peaytt, a songwriter fighting cancer, said it best in one of his emails to me: “you could stop here and be proud…or you can reach more. Hope starts with one person”. And he is soo right I have to reach more and I am reaching for your support and donation to get this organization started. I am working with printing companies that are willing to donate some products for this families and then the amazing Luxecetera design company is donating their services to help me create the branding behind all this.
I have researched the cost of starting a non profit foundation and they are way out my reach ($3,000). I am asking anybody that is willing to help and that has it on their hearts to be part of creating some memories for families struck by the tragedy of cancer (or any other terminal illness) to donate whatever they can so I can get this started..
If you can’t donate anything please spread the word to your friends and family and maybe they can. Like Nile said, hope starts with one person and hope starts with you.
Little Cole is the strongest 3 month old baby.. He is able to push himself up so high at just 3 months.. And of course look at those amazing eyes… He has the biggest blue eyes ever.. It was such a pleasure to do his pictures today but all that pushing up worn him up by the end and he was done by the time we tried a few pictures out in the field… Well he has done a LOT for his tiny little age… Stacy and Chad enjoy the little sneak peek of your little man.. Thank you for your patience…
A few more pictures from my trip to Baltimore..Look at the amazing fall colors in Baltimore and the sweet family I photograph while there.. Gotta to make it a tradition and go there next year.. I love Baltimore
