MRI Results

photoUpdate on Lidia: The MRI results are in. The MRI confirmed the spot on the bone, and any possibility of this being caused from some sort of trauma to the back was ruled out. The silver lining is that there’s no damage showing at all in the tissue, so whatever this is, it seems to be isolated to the bone. The next step is a bone biopsy, which will tell us if this is cancer and what kind of cancer it is… whether it’s breast cancer metastasized or some other form of bone cancer. The biopsy has not be scheduled yet, so that’s all we know at this time.

Although Lidia is understandably exhausted and scared, she is facing all of this with an incredible strength and presence. This #OhSoPoshSTRONG hashtag trending on instagram has kept her smiling, and we just saw it already passed 500 posts!  Just amazing  :)  Lidia has always shared with me how it’s important to her to use social media for good – to spread positive thoughts and words of encouragement, rather than focusing on the negative. Now it’s such an amazing thing to see social media being used in this way to return that love and inspiration right back to her. Best social media campaign, ever.  ;)

Again if you would like to share any cards or words of encouragement, I’m it would cheer her up to wake up to a room full of color. The address is:

Presbyterian Hospital Plano
Lidia Grigorean
6200 W Parker Rd
Building C
Plano, TX 75093

Thanks again everyone for the prayers and continuing to fill her heart & spirit with hope.

Lidia, I am so sad to hear what you are going through. I recently became a mother in October to a beautiful baby girl. In following your journey you have taught me so much about life and how to raise a daughter to be an influence for good in the world! I feel so connected to you and Isadora and my heart breaks for you. You and your family are in my prayers. I will be sending healthy vibes your way!

I am so sorry that your life has taken this course, it seems you were finally at a point where everything was smiling down on you and Isadora when this came up. The good news is, everything is still smiling down on you! I say this because you have shown me that no matter what life hands you, to always see the beauty in it. You are a beautiful person, inside and out, and I have treasured reading your posts on Facebook. Isadora is lucky to have you for a mom, you are so inspiring. I will continue to keep you and Isadora in my prayers… I will pray for healing and comfort for you both and your family and close friends. Please know you are never alone through this struggle, there are many, many people (as you well know by now) keeping you in their thoughts and prayers always. I am sending to you and Isadora a hug, it is not much, but it is given with love and support ~ I will walk this walk with you as long as you need me, and then I will continue the walk. Through you I have learned to see the colors around me more brightly, and to enjoy even the smallest and most simple things, and that is why, I am simply giving you a hug ~ be well soon my cyber friend.
