In my journey to create timeless memories for families that are affected by any type of cancer I came across the story of baby Chloe… Her mom Sara Sullivan, 29 years old, found out she had breast cancer a few weeks after finding out she was pregnant.. She fought as hard as she could, did chemo and surgery to bring a healthy baby into the world.. Sara’s happiness was short lives as she passed away 2 weeks after giving birth to precious Chloe. I contacted Brad and as a breast cancer survivor myself I offered my photography services so we can capture Chloe in her first few weeks of life..
Their story is soo amazing that all throughout the process of taking pictures and editing I could not help but get goose bumps hearing what they went through.. You may notice a little birth mark on Chloe’s arm.. That’s not just any birth mark… Brad wanted to donate Sara’s heart but because of the chemo that Sara had to go through they were not able to donate it.. But Sara really wanted to leave the imprint of her amazing heart here so little Chloe’s birth mark is shaped as a heart..
Thank you Brad and Teresa for your patience this morning..Taking this pictures is just another reinforcement that the non profit foundation I am working so hard at establishing will be an amazing thing so families throughout the country can have some special memories of their dear ones captured by a professional photographer..
Enjoy the little slide show…
