Dream Away | Once Upon a Dream Collection

Happy Birthday to me:)!!!! My dream came true and after months and months of hard work and research I am so happy that I am able to release the beautiful and amazing new action collection for photoshop and photoshop elements. I released the Bohemian Symphony Collection last year on my dad’s birthday (it was his 3rd birthday up in heaven). I love to do things in life that have a lot of meaning into them so I wanted to release the Once Upon a Dream collection for my birthday. So here we are today, February 22nd, 2012 and I am turning 36!!! I really don’t feel 36:).. In my mind I am about 20 or so:)..

The new collection is a bit different than the first one but it will also help you leave the “oh so posh” touch on your pictures. This time mostly for the indoor pictures. I know when I first started in photography, I had a hard time removing color casts from my pictures and getting just the right skin tones. Once Upon A Dream Collection is everything I wish I knew how to do back a few years ago. There are 57 actions that will really help your pictures stand out and reduce so much your editing time. I have some amazing actions for the skin that will help take out the most stubborn magenta, red, yellow or any other color cast you might have. The Heavenly Skin Brushes is one action that I just LOVE!!!!! Just like it’s name the Heavenly Brushes will really help you create heavenly skin tones:)..

No matter what your style is this Collection will be perfect for any photographer. You can use some very soft actions like Innocence, Barely There, Dulce, Angelic and a few more that will add a very soft, sheer but still very unique tone to your pictures. If you want to be more creative and you like more tone in your pictures there are some actions that will help you create some very fun and artistic tones. One of my favorites is Enchanted and also Counting Stars!!!

Among so many other actions that will really speed up your processing time, I have some one click actions that will help you adjust your white balance, exposure and tone all in one click!!! Sometimes all you need is to run this action and your pictures are done!!! I could go on and on and on about this collection even if it’s almost 4:00 AM here:)!!! Ok I think you all can tell how excited I am!!! I can hardly wait to see your beautiful pictures come to life!!!!

Since I am turning 36, I wanted to offer a very special price to the first 36 people that will buy the collection!!! The price for the Once Upon a Dream Collection is $125!

The first 36 lucky people will be able to purchase the collection for $65!!!!! Well, it’s my birthday after all:)

The intro price that everybody can take advantage for Today and tomorrow will be $85!!

The extended intro price that will last through the weekend and end Sunday February26th, 2012 at 11;59 PM CST, will be $95!!!!

The Once Upon A Dream Collection will go on sale today February 22nd, 2012 at 12:00 PM CST!!!    and here is the link where it will be available!!! Shop ONCE UPON A DREAM!!!

Thank you so much everybody for your support and I am soooo excited to see your beautiful before and after pictures!!!!

HollyJohnson - March 10, 2012 - 10:53 pm

I purchased the Oh So Posh edition and was so excited to get started on editing. After my purchase I discovered I needed to have Photoshop to use this program. I was going to getphotoshop at some point so I guess now is as good as later. I have done quite a bit with photoediting but haven’t used Adobe. Which Photoshop do you recommend for someone who has editing experience? I would like to order my Adobe this week. Someone responded to me telling me I need to use Photoshop but I can’t find that message at this time. Let me know what you recommend. I think I want something a litttle better than Elements.

Great giveaway! :-) Hmmm… now what would I pick? I want to say something outlandish, or obscure and wildly funny… but I would probably (if I won the first prize) indulge my photographic urges with a new lens or Lightroom – both long-standing tenants of my current Amazon Wish List! If I won the smaller gift cards, I have a loooong list of books that need to be chizzeled down. :-) Good luck to all who have entered. x

Breville juicer Giveaway

If you have been following me on Facebook, you probably have seen my most recent posts about a Juice fast. What is this juice fast and why do I do it? Well, a lot of people do the juice fasts to loose weight. I am doing it for health benefits. As most of you know I am a cancer survivor and with all the treatment from cancer and all the surgeries I had to have, my body is just not the same. I am always tired, always in pain, I take a pill for one thing and the side effects of that pill make something else in my body hurt. Most recently I had a cortisone in both of my hips. For some reason the cortisone shot flared up something (most likely ulcers) in my stomach and for 2 weeks I was in so much pain and no matter what I did I was just miserable. I got pretty scared so in the frenzy of it all when I was so sick I ordered a Breville Juicer and I said that once I am feeling better I got to figure something out about my health because just going from one doctor to another is sometimes so frustrating. I don’t want another pain pill, I just want to feel better. Don’t get me wrong I love my doctors and they have helped me so much and i am here today because they have helped me but my body was so run down that just popping more pills into my system was not the answer this time.

So finally this Monday I started the Juice fast. I don’t follow any kind of recipe. I was raised in Romania, a very poor country back when I grew up, and I guess growing up in a poor country had its advantages as we had to be creative about our food so I never cook by a recipe:). I just taste something and think.. Oh I think it has this and think and this in it and most of the times whatever I am trying to cook turnes out pretty good. So I do the same with the juice diet. I went to the store and just loaded my card with as many greens as possible and whatever else I thought will be good for my body. I know Kale is really good for our bodies so I try to use a lot of kale in most of my juices.

Today is day 4 and I have to say that the massive headaches that I used to have and I had to take at least 6 pills a day for my headaches are gone.. Ok I am the most skeptical person you have ever met and I don’t believe that drinking juice will help the headaches go away but I am sitting her puzzled that the headaches are all gone. My energy level is through the roof today and I don’t remember when was the last time that I didn’t complain that something is hurting. Day 1 and 2 were the hardest and I kept wanting to eat something, not because I was hungry but just because I was used to going in the kitchen when I was bored or when I had been at my computer for too long.

I am planning to do this diet for a week. I might push it a bit and try 2 weeks but I will listen to my body. What is very interesting to me is that I never, ever, EVER have been craving any foods while on this diet. So that tells me that my body is getting all the nutrition and vitamins from the juices I have been drinking and honestly I think my body is getting a whole lot more nutrition just from the juice than from all the foods I was eating before. I eat very heathy, I don’t even have sugar in my house, I eat lots of fruits and vegetables, I don’t eat any processed food at all but my body was always craving something. Since I have been doing the juice diet, all those cravings are gone! Like I said I am the biggest skeptic ever and if this worked for me and I feel better I really believe there are some benefits of juicing!!

I just feel way too good not to share this with others so I decided to help 2 people get a Breville juicer and hopefully this will help them with their health. I know this is totally not photography related but even as photographers we have to take care of our bodies, otherwise we will not be able to do our job. I know that it’s so easy to fall into temptations while we are sitting long hours at the computer and have unhealthy snacks next to us and without even thinking putting things in our bodies that are just not good for us. I am only 35 but my body has been through so much and I always tell everybody, please, please take care of your health. You have no idea what a blessing it is to be healthy.

There is nothing appealing to me about laying down in a hospital bed day in and day out. Our health is a gift that so many of us tend to take it for granted and I used to do the same. But not anymore! Not having to take any pills for 4 straight days and be able to work and feel like I am healthy again, wow that to me is priceless!!!

So to the details of the Breville Juicer giveaway!!!!

1. Please leave a comment bellow with your name and email and a short sentence on why you would love to win this juicer!
2. All entries must be in by Sunday February 12th, 2012 9 PM CST
3. I will have my daughter pick the two lucky winners and post the video on Facebook no later than February 14th, 2012
4. Good luck everybody and even if you don’t win this juicer, please, please try to take care of you health!!! You really deserve it!!!

I desperately need to lose weight, not only for my health, but to be here for my son. I have heard GREAT things about juicing! I would love to win this juicer, since raising a toddler is very expensive and i dont have extra money to get myself a juicer. Thanks so much for this!

Amy Crowe - February 9, 2012 - 5:36 pm

I got into a car accident in 2005 that nearly took my life. It was until then that I now realize how precious life is. I still suffer with SEVERE pain every day, and chronic headaches, I am hoping that with this juicer I will feel so much better. Thank you so much for doing this giveaway, and I hope you consider me for winning this. :)

Melissa Grizzle - February 9, 2012 - 5:36 pm

I am so glad that you are doing this. I love the fact that you have seen good results for your headaches.

Elisha Johnson - February 9, 2012 - 5:37 pm

Felicia Robinson - February 9, 2012 - 5:38 pm

Would love to win this juicer! My kids love drinking juice, and I would feel so much better giving them something I made at home instead of not knowing exactly how it was processed. Thanks for doing the giveaway!

Eva Meister - February 9, 2012 - 5:38 pm

Ooooh! I’ve been looking for a used juicer for awhile. My oldest son (5) is suuuuuper picky and won’t eat ANY vegetables. I’d love a juicer to sneak some veggies into his diet!

Noelle Jenkins - February 9, 2012 - 5:38 pm

Liz Jackson - February 9, 2012 - 5:39 pm

I would loveeee to win this!! I have been juicing since Christmas [got a juice then] and juice all day except for dinner.. I also did the Mean Green detox. My juicer is a cheaper model and my juice always has a ton of pupl in it, and I feel like my juicer doesnt get all the juice out of the veggies & fruit.

Courtney - February 9, 2012 - 5:39 pm

I’d love to win this so I can be healthy for myself, but also for my baby on the way!! I drink tons of water and milk, but would love to have a fresh glass of healthy juice and not that stuff that has so much in it so that it could last forever on a shelf :)

Samantha Robinette - February 9, 2012 - 5:40 pm

I would love a juicer to get my body on the healthy track. I’m 24 and diagnosed with depression and this causes me to have horrible fatigue. I think a juice fast every month would help me in the long run to get some energy and lose some pounds.

I would so love to win this. I’ve struggled with weight all my life, trying all sorts of diets. I’ve heard so many good things about juicing and I LOVE drinking things like V8 but don’t like all the added chemicals. I’ve been eyeballing a juicer for a while but they can be so expensive! :( Thank you for giving everyone this opportunity!

Emily Hester - February 9, 2012 - 5:40 pm

I would love to have one..I have some thyroid issues and constantly gain or lose weight. I always feel unhealthy even taking vitamins so I am up for trying anything to give me more energy and help balance my body out. I often get headaches as well but that could be from stress :) not sure. I also take care of my dad who has MS so he could probably benefit from it as well. He continues to get weaker so he needs as many nutrients as possible!! :) Thank you for the opportunity to win one. But if someone needs it more I hope you choose the most deserving people. Have a good one :)

Melanie Pittman - February 9, 2012 - 5:40 pm

I am in a huge rut, I need to loose a good 100lbs to be healthy for my kids, they are suffering and I think if I had great things like this in my kitchen I would try harder and make a good lifestyle change, I love tasty drinks so this could be a huge push!

Niki - February 9, 2012 - 5:40 pm

You are inspirational. I have been reading your posts each day about juicing and would LOVE to try it. I am so happy that you are seeing such great results with your health. I too get headaches and wonder if it would help me?! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Jeannene Schutt - February 9, 2012 - 5:40 pm

This is a great gift to whoever wins…good luck girls!

I would love to win this because my husband and I are trying to have a baby and I want to get healthier. I am trying to eat better and I want to start juicing but theres no way i could afford a good juicer and this would get me off to the right start!

Liz Leighton - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

I’m 37 years old. In a few years, I’ll be hitting that big 4-0. Up until last year, I’ve really taken lousy care of myself. I used to knock back 3 or 4 Cokes a day, crammed Mac & Cheese like there was no tomorrow, Cheetos and Doritos were the snack of choice and chocolate was my best friend. Over the past year, I’ve been able to rid myself of my soda addiction and I try to eat a bit healthier but I still notice that something just isn’t right with me. I need to start caring for my body. I need to start reminding myself that I have 4 children to live for and if I don’t start getting healthier, they may not have a mother that lives a long, healthy life. I need this for myself. I need to start caring about me. Yes, my life is about my family…my children….but it IS about me too. This would be a great way to really get me to start the cleanse and start a new chapter in my health.

Michele Olson - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

My name is Michele Olson, my email is OlsonMichele@gmail.com.
Like you, I have a lot of aches and pains but I don’t like to take pills so I deal with it. I am going to figure out a way to try this and hope it makes a difference in my life. You are a daily inspiration, keep doing what you do, don’t change!
Good Luck Everyone

Maryrose Brame - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

I would love to win this juicer because all I drink right now is diet coke! Time to get healthy!

Christy foreman - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

I too have headaches, but have also really struggled with weight and just getting back to being healthy since my daughtet was born 3yrs ago. Thanks for the chance. I would love to win and improve my health;)

Bridget McCurdy - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

Lidia you are so kind to do this!! I’ve actually been trying to purchase a juicer after doing a lot of research on the many benefits of it, however they are pretty expensive so I haven’t been able to purchase one just yet. My husband and I are having to go through fertility treatments right now to try to have a baby (i’ve wanted to be a mom my whole life) I’m only 25 and in good physical shape, however I usually don’t have the best diet. I really wanted to try to juicing to get extra vitamins and nutrients to see if it helps us out. Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity!!

Carol Long - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

I don’t have a juicer so I am making green smoothies. I too don’t have cravings. Even though I love the smoothies, I would love to juice at times. Having six kids it is so difficult for me to put myself first but I really need to do so now. I began this as a diet but think it may end up being a lifestyle change instead.

Erin Bedenbaugh - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

Thank you so much for this post! I was diagnosed last year with gluten intolerance, among other things. I would love to have a juicer to help my digestive track heal and get all of the nutrition it needs! This would be great great great for my family. Thank you!

Cristi - February 9, 2012 - 5:41 pm

This juicer would be an amazing contribution to my eating healthy efforts! I have a heart condition and have had 4 open heart surgeries and have a pacemaker so it is important that I stay in shape, however I can’t work out because of my heart so I really have to depend on the food I eat. Thanks for this oppurtunity! May the most deserving win! :)

Laura Power - February 9, 2012 - 5:42 pm

I thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest. I just would like to be chosen to start a healthier me.

Jennifer West - February 9, 2012 - 5:42 pm

Would love to win a juicer and become healthier. Taking care of a toddler, I always come last and most of the time just grab whatever is quick and easy! Think it’s so kind of you to do this. Take care!

jesika forsyth - February 9, 2012 - 5:42 pm

I like you also suffer from chronic migranes. I am on 4pills everyday to try and keep them at bay…I am 26, never did I think I would endure these at such a young age. 3 children under my belt one of which has every allergy I have (bees, hayfever, cinnamon, and anything they add to “keep” a product longer, we cannot touch raw meats without serious inflammation) not only would I like this for me, but also for him.

Jennifer Lake - February 9, 2012 - 5:43 pm

I just recently found your Facebook page through another photographer. I was instantly enamored with your writing as you wrote about your daughter and how she had already been through so much. Plus your photographs of her? Ah, they’re to die for! What a beautiful little girl.

Then, I saw your posts about this juice fast and I knew it was meant to be that I found your blog. I’m a 20 year old college student who has been so up and down with my health for the past few years but especially the past six months or so.

It seems that each doctor prescribes me another medication, and they each add their own terrible side effects. Like you, I’m having headaches daily and the thought of taking anymore pain medication is exhausting! I was determined to see a holistic doctor and fix all these problems with a better diet. I already eat very healthy and avoid processed foods like you so it makes me even more sure that this might be a good option for me! Thank you for sharing your own experiences and trials and now, your solution!

I would love to win this juicer so that I could make my own attempt at solving my current health issues with a juice fast, too! Besides, who doesn’t love fresh juice?!

Carly Johnson - February 9, 2012 - 5:43 pm

Carly Johnson at carlyjohnsonphotos@gmail.com I would love to win this because I’ve been so busy working full time and doing full time photography that I’ve been eating like crap. I go to Florida in April and would love to feel good and be on the track to a healthy new start.

Marla Stout - February 9, 2012 - 5:43 pm

I’d love to win a juicer and see if a juice fast is the kick start I need to feeling better, losing weight and having more energy.

Svetlana Nikiforova - February 9, 2012 - 5:43 pm

I would love this juicer to try this for my migraines. They are so bad and I have them every day and no pills help.. So I understand you in a way… Thank you so much for thinking of others!!!!

Cami Adams - February 9, 2012 - 5:44 pm

I would love to win this to get my health back on track so I can be around longer for my children. At the rate I know I am going I know I won’t be around long :(

Thank you for the opportunity!!

Jennifer Johnson - February 9, 2012 - 5:45 pm

I’ve been following your posts because everyone in my office has jumped on the “Juice” or “reboot” lifestyle and with amazing results. My goal is to get healthy just like you. My hair is thinning, my skin doesn’t look good, I have headaches and too many aches and pains to count. I would love to give this a try, but of course the juice machines are so expensive. Thank you so much for this contest. I wish you continued success!! God bless and good health!

Beth Stacey - February 9, 2012 - 5:45 pm

I would love to win this juicer to help my son who is on the autism spectrum. We have been trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into his diet, so if we were to win one of the juicers I think this would really help us all eat healthier!

Jennifer Wolfe - February 9, 2012 - 5:45 pm

Hey Lidia, what an amazing person you are! God has blessed you with such a sweetness and honesty. I would love to win the juicer for me and my family, I so desperately want to live healthier. My Dad had heart disease at age 40 and at 47 passed from bladder cancer. I know how important it is to treat your body good!

Jen Dalton - February 9, 2012 - 5:45 pm

Ever since last summer when I started having problems with my gall bladder,I have learned a lot about the everyday foods we put into our bodies. As a single mom of four trying to get the proper nutrient into our bodies is hard. My kids LOVE juicing and this would be a great addition to our new lifestyle :) Thanks for the oppertunity

janie - February 9, 2012 - 5:45 pm

i would love to eat healthier! the juices that you post actually look yummy!! i really wanna try this juice diet, not only to loose weight for me but for my kids also!

Andrea Robinson - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

I would LOVE to win this juicer. I am overweight, and have been trying to get pregnant with a third child. The desire that God has put on my heart for another baby is unbearable at times. I was told that if I could lose even 10% of my body weight, conception would be much easier. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration:-)

Danielle Skinner - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

I am happy to hear that you are having such wonderful results.I would love to start juicing. Both my husband and son struggle with weight issues and I think juicing would be a great way to introduce more fruits and veggies into our diet.I also suffer from weekly migraines,so I would be interested to see if juicing could bring me some relief. Thanks for the opportunity.

Nikki Luke - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

I would love this juicer to help with healthier eating habits and hopefully stop these chronic headaches I have. I think it would be awesome to start eating helthier and instill that upon my kids!

Lisa Oliveira - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

I follow you on facebook and am always so inspired by you. I was so excited when I saw that you were doing a giveaway for the juicer! I have been reading into juice diets the last couple of months but haven’t been able to start it because of the outrageous cost of the juicer. I’d love to win this. Both for the health benefits (hoepfully help my migraines) and also for the weight loss benefit!

Kristine vander veer - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

I would be so greatful to have such a great gift, i have two little girls ages 3&1, im also 50 pounds overweight, anf this would really help me to loose that weight! Ive lost 30 already! I just need to get healthy, and be fit so i can live to see my girls as adults!

Rachel Roberts - February 9, 2012 - 5:46 pm

Im pregnant and I have very severe morning sickness. I hope juicing could help me get the nutrition I need to grow a healthy baby.

tyrra white - February 9, 2012 - 5:47 pm

My husband and I are always talking about how beneficial doing juice fasts would be for our health but a juicer that’s worth it is far out of our budget. Would love to win this! Thanks for the opportunity. :)

Adriana Janky - February 9, 2012 - 5:47 pm

I have always wanted to juice and for such a long time. I know there are so many health benefits in juicing and I get all the nutrients I get for my body. I do have a cheap juicer but I realize I need something better because I get discouraged daily when I am using the one I have. I am doing the juicing not only to lose weight, but to also make my body healthier. My husband and I want children and we would like to be healthier than we are at this point. We are taking this one step at a time and juicing is a big step for me because I HATE vegetables but I am willing to drink the juice I make out of them.

On a side note my favorite juice is 1 beet, 4 or 5 carrots, 1 whole lemon, and 2 or 3 apples. Very delicious

Candace Alvarado - February 9, 2012 - 5:47 pm

I would LOVE to win this juicer because, like many of us, to improve our health. I have Crohn’s Disease and juicing would be a good way to deal with the flare ups. Thanks and good luck to whoever the lucky winner my be!

-Nikki Kesterson

Asun - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

First of all, thank you so much for your generosity once again :)
I am so glad to hear that you’re feeling so much better with this diet!! I’m sure your body is benefiting from it and you’ll be able to tell the difference even when you finish with the diet.

As for me, I would love to win the juicer because I’ve never tried something like what you’re doing. I was in a “raw diet” for three months (not to lose weight but for health reasons too :( ) and it was SO HARD!! My problem didn’t go away since it is quite complicated, but I sure felt very good in many other ways. I would love to try your diet and see how it can help me!

Thank you for your continuous encouragement to everybody!

Vicky Sullivan - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

Wow, the timing of this giveaway could not be better. My mom is in the hospital right now. She is suffering from congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, gaul balder issues, and stage 4 kidney failure. I told her when she gets out I will scrape together enough money to buy her a juicer if she promises to learn a new way of eating and cooking. She said she is excited to learn about proper nutrition and help her body heal itself. She even want to watch the movie “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”!!! The doctors just want to keep giving her new medicine but I believe this will be much more beneficial. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us!

Anna Thomas - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

I religiously follow your blog and facebook page but you REALLY have my attention with the juicing. Immediately after having my daughter I was readmitted to the hospital and diagnosed with congestive heart failure and postpartum induced cardiomyopathy. I was told I could not have any more children because it could be fatal, so it was best for me not to even chance it. I was completely devastated. After watching “the movie” my husband and I both decided that this would be a fantastic thing for both of us to do. My disease cannot be cured but being healthier and loosing weight will help. We’ve wanted to do this for several months now but with my little girl starting school, along with all the new expenses, buying a juicer was put on the back burner. I would LOVE to win a juicer!!! This could completely change my life!

Karolina - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

I would love to win the juicer for my husband to better his health as he is fighting with high cholesterol levels and juicing is one of the greates ways to help him. Good luck on your diet!

Amy vaughn - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

I need to lead a healthier lifestyle and this juicer can help. Im hoping to use it to lose weight. I love hearing of all the positive effects it had had for you and others.

Kim Sobel - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

I am trying to eat more healthy and lose some weight.

Krista Brenner - February 9, 2012 - 5:48 pm

Wow, this is wonderful! This will be a wonderful treat for whomever wins! Thank you!

Kristin Wood - February 9, 2012 - 5:49 pm

I would love to win this juicer. My husband and I have been overweight for a long time and I’m starting to feel the effects of it now. We have went from one thing to another here lately and while the intention to start juicing has been in the back of my mind, we couldnt afford a really great juicer. We’ve decided to start saving for one but it would be so amazing to win one instead. Thank you for being such an inspiration!

Jamie Fallaw - February 9, 2012 - 5:49 pm

I would love to win this juicer because I am currently working on losing all the weight that I’ve put on through the medications that I’ve had to take for my seizures. It would help me get started and get on a better track.

Brandy Ferchau - February 9, 2012 - 5:50 pm

I’m in the same boat at you. Dr. after Dr., pill after pill. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 2 years ago, and I haven’t been the same since. I went gluten free 5 months ago and have seen some improvement, but I’m still looking to improve my health. 36 is too young to feel bad all the time, especially while trying to homeschool three kiddos. Thanks for the chance to win!

Tania G - February 9, 2012 - 5:50 pm

I am so glad you are feeling better! I have always wanted a juicer- I really think eating whole, natural foods will help me to prevent sickness…especially with this expensive freelancer insurance I have to have :) Less claims the better!

Chrissy Mumau Fabri - February 9, 2012 - 5:50 pm

If I would win this I would give this to my mom who has Fibromyalgia and needs to try something like this to re-energize her body. You are amazing and I love to ready your stories!! :-)

Yesie Machado - February 9, 2012 - 5:50 pm

For such an amazing photographer, whose been through so much, you sure are a generous soul. I think you and your daughter have an amazing story, and doing this giveaway just adds to how wonderful the both of you really are. I gotta say I would love to have the juicer for several reasons…first off, I have two kids and I am a stay at home business woman, who never has time to take care of myself…let alone try to take off the weight gained from pregnancies. I own a struggling business, and can’t always afford to buy the expensive things in life that aren’t “work” related. I would love to experience the energy, and benefits of juicing, and take the first step to taking care of my health…because your health is something work sure won’t give you in return. Thank you for doing the giveaway, I would be forever grateful if I were to be chosen.

Crysta Walker - February 9, 2012 - 5:51 pm

I am needing to do something about my physical and mental health and did research and this seems like it could benefit me TREMENDOUSLY!
Thanks for the opportunity!

Heather Brazell - February 9, 2012 - 5:52 pm

I would love to win this to see if it helps my headaches, and to get my 2 yr old to drink healthier juice and sneak some veggies in maybe?

Samantha Watson - February 9, 2012 - 5:52 pm

I would like to start off by saying that my children are my daily inspiration and they keep me alive, but without a healthy mommy I am no good to them. My husband has recently found out he may have a cancer that is known from his side of the family. This is devastating to us on so many different levels. We don’t want to “diet” we want a complete lifestyle change..not just for him but all of us. If you chose my family I would promise that the 6 of us would have a complete lifestyle change that is already in the making, and when I could afford a juicer on my own I will donate this one or do exactly what you are doing now.

Tiffany Vakaloloma - February 9, 2012 - 5:52 pm

What an amazing giveaway!! You truly are an inspiration!! I would LOVE a juicer. I have been wanting to try juicing for awhile now, but am not able to afford a good juicer at this time. I have chronic headaches that I have to take pain pills for regularly, if this took away your headaches I feel it could do the same for me! I would also like to do it for the weight loss and health reasons as well, I need to lose at least 30 pounds and just started working out as well. I want my kids to see me eating right and working out, so that they will continue that in their lives.

melody clark - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

I struggle with food allergies to both gluten and dairy, among other things. Usually a couple times a year, I do a detox and drink MANY smoothies/juices to keep my energy up and simple rid my body of toxins. However, I use my blender for this and have been limited in the capabilities of the yummy concoctions. Would LOVE to have a chance at winning this beauty! Thanks so much!

shawny atkinson - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

Hi, I have decided a few months ago that I needed to get healthy. I’m a 36 year old mom of 3 boys, i work on an ambulance, and in the burn unit of a hospital while I finish nursing school. I also had cancer (skin) . I too get very tired working long shifts taking care of very ill people. I see everyday the effects of neglect on the human body. With our society as a whole eating so much processed fatty foods because its easier to obtain while we race through our busy lifestyles, I worry about my boys! They will eat healthy if do, and I think this a great way to show them that veggies can taste good and its quick! We tend to cook away a lot of the vitamins in our vegetables! What a great way to get the most out of our raw fruits and vegetables without the same old boring salads week after week!!! Oh, and we cant forget how cool it is to pulverize some goodiesin a machine!!! Fun!

Tori Fleahman - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

I love what you are doing Lidia, you have such a big heart. You have found something you really enjoy and seems to help you feel better and you want to share it with us! Always helping others!

I would love to win one of these because, simply I think it is great.
This is obviously something that MANY people have found to work amazing, for different things. I would love to have the chance to do this! Like everyone I would be blessed to win! This is an awesome thing your doing. Thank you so much!

Amanda - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

Amanda Duncan Beautifulone9980@yahoo.com
I would like to win this juicer to go on a spiritual fast of “live” only foods.

Cindy Smith - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

I’ve been wanting to do what you are doing right now, a juice fast. But our budget does not allow for me to get a juicer yet, so it would be awesome to win one :) I’m currently 140 lbs over weight and it is making me have so many health problems. I would love to win it, and would put it to use as soon as I got it :) Thank you for having such a great giveaway!!

Frances Mather - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

I am having alot of different health issues and the doctors have no clue what is going on. I am having money troubles right now but would love to give this a try. I love all different kinds of friut and veggies I think this would travel better in the car or those morning carpools, playdate, etc. Good luck everybody.

Trena - February 9, 2012 - 5:53 pm

I have been wanting to juice for a while now but haven’t been able to get buying a juicer out of the way. My biggest motivation is that I don’t want my son exposed to processed foods whenever possible, and commercial juices are one of the biggest offenders of preservatives and who knows what else. I’m slowly changing my eating habits and diet so that it’ll be second nature for him.

Trisha Wittman - February 9, 2012 - 5:54 pm

I am on a journey to eat healthy in this new year. I find on the days that I eat no processed foods, and lots of fruits and vegetables I am much more energy. I feel better all around. I would love to win this juicer to help me continue on healthy eating/weight loss journey. I have been thinking about a juice fast lately. Your results so far have been encouraging.

Lisa - February 9, 2012 - 5:54 pm

I have been reading Kris Carr’s books and I really would love to start juicing :-) Thank you for the chance to win!

BritneyD - February 9, 2012 - 5:54 pm

I’ve been wanting a Vitamix for awhile now, but have heard the Breville Juicer is also great! I have a hard time eating “dry” things in the morning, so try to make smoothies instead. They are a little too chunky though in my current blender! Would love the health benefits of using spinach and kale, and all those great things in my smoothies! Thank you, thank you!

Donna Clay - February 9, 2012 - 5:54 pm

How much healthy FUN is this giveaway! Hi Lidia!! I would love to win this juicier so it would give us a reason to get together & so you could personally show me & Emma Kay how to use it! Plus, as a cancer survivor too it’s about time I jump on the juicier health train! =) Love ALL you do for your amazing FANS! Love you BiG! xoxo

Angela McKey - February 9, 2012 - 5:55 pm

I’d love to win this juicer because I need to lose weight & get healthier before my hubby and I get pregnant with our first baby. :) Thank you again Lidia for your generosity!

kim Carmichael - February 9, 2012 - 5:56 pm

You are so kind what a great opportunity! I would love this juicer because my husband and two boys will not touch vegetables but they all drink tons of juice! This would be a way to get more nutrients into them without the fight :-) Glad to hear the juice diet is doing wonders for you! bugabuimages@gmail.com

Heather - February 9, 2012 - 5:56 pm

Thanks for the opportunity! My husband and I try to keep our family eating pretty healthily anyway, but we actually decided just last night to save up for a juicer so that we could incorporate more fruits and veggies into our diets and our childrens’ that way. My toddler girls are nuttos over fruit and veggie juices when we buy them by the gallon. You sure would save us a lot of money for something that is very important to us! :)

natalie lundberg - February 9, 2012 - 5:56 pm

Thank you for this contest and your story. This is the year I’m going to get healthy and lose the weight I’ve always wanted to and this juicer could be a big help

Cassandra Craft - February 9, 2012 - 5:57 pm

This year I am trying to eat healthier. I am a long distance runner and eating fruits and vegetables is definitely the way to go :) You doing this diet for the right reasons is inspiration to us all! Thank you!!

heidi s. - February 9, 2012 - 5:57 pm

Hi! What a great giveaway….I have suffered for years with chronic migraine headaches and have to go to the hospital for shots in my rear-end. Not fun! The shots make me vomit which hurts my head more and so on, and so on. Also, after my beautiful daughter was born, I have been battling post-partum depression and have gained a million pounds. I have wanted to try juicing for a while, but juicers are super expensive! C’mon pretty Isodora, pick me! :)

Holly Hanks - February 9, 2012 - 5:58 pm

I have struggled with weight and health issues all my life. Often times doctors can’t pinpoint why I am having the issues that I am having and I have had to find answers on my own. I would love to try juicing since I have heard so many great reviews of it and the benefits online.

brandy claypool - February 9, 2012 - 5:58 pm

I would like to win thus for my mother and father. My father suffers from extreme bouts of gout and is in pain most days and on medications that he will have to take for the rest of his life. My mother has been sick for 4 years, they removed her thyroid, but something was still mimicking hyperthyroidism, 2 years later-after switching doctors, they finally found what could be causing her problems, a cyst on her ovary. So in two weeks she will be having a total hysterectomy. I am hopeful that this will solve all of her problems so she can finally play with her two grand babies like a grandmother should!!! With your help winning this juicer could help change their eating habits and make them feel young again :) thank you and your daughter both for this opportunity!! You are an inspiration!

Kat Hill - February 9, 2012 - 5:58 pm

Chris Mish - February 9, 2012 - 6:01 pm

I would love to win the juice because I have been inspired to juice again and I end up getting a workout trying to force my produce into the juicer! The benefits of juicing are amazing!!! I just wish it were easier to incorporate into everyday life! Thank you!

Lorna Petersen - February 9, 2012 - 6:01 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I have Dermatomyositis (it’s an autoimmune disease attacking my muscles – 4 yrs now) and have retired from the school district to work on my health. I have lost muscle strength with this. My goal is to be better about what I eat to build my muscle back. I would LOVE to be able to lift my grandkids (like I used to) for all those hugs. (I would also like to be able to lift my camera better so I can take cute pictures of them.)

Heather Banfield - February 9, 2012 - 6:01 pm

I had originally liked your fb page when you had the camera giveaway. And I thought…I’ll like the page and then unlike it once the giveaway is over. But your blog, fb post, and pictures are truly inspirational. I read every single one! You are a talented photographer, beautiful woman, incredibly humble, and most importantly a wonderful mother.

I would like the juicer just to live a healthier life. I had a baby 6 months ago, and could lose a few extra pounds. But more importantly I crave all those processed foods and sweets like you said, and I am interested to see if the “Juice Diet” would cure it.

You are incredibly generous and I want to thank you for all the giveaways you have done. So….. Thank you.

Jaime - February 9, 2012 - 6:02 pm

I would absolutely LOVE to win this juicer because I have two beautiful daughters who definitely keep me busy but who leave me little time to make nutritious meals for myself! I think this would be a wonderful way to take better care of myself without having to take time away from my family! Thank you so much for the opportunity!! :)

Melissa Stanley - February 9, 2012 - 6:02 pm

I’d love to win a juicer because I feel like it’s the next step in my healthy lifestyle choices. I try to eat local and organic, but still do not eat enough veggies, this would help round the edges in my health goal.

Melissa Stanley

Patricia Holy - February 9, 2012 - 6:02 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I don’t have one and it’s something I would love to try. I’m not much of a meat eater, I love fruits and vegetables and would love to experiment with some recipes with a juicer. I have a stomach disorder – Gastroparesis – and I’m not able to take the medicines the doctor prescribed. I take Miralax to help with my digestion. That has helped me be able to eat and gain weight. Before, I would take a couple of bites of food and feel full, nauseated and belch a nasty taste from food just sitting in my stomach.

Hope the juicing helps with your migraines. I’ve had my share of the over the years. I think stress and lack of sleep attributed to alot of my migraines. I’ve been on Propranolol for the last 3 years for the migraines. For me its a miracle drug! I hardly have headaches anymore and if I do they aren’t that severe.

Shonda Rodehaver - February 9, 2012 - 6:02 pm

I am trying to get healthy this year! Joined the YMCA and drinking more water. This would be great!

Faye Joyce - February 9, 2012 - 6:03 pm

I would love this! This would be a big help getting me to eat more healthier and take better care of myself!

Angela - February 9, 2012 - 6:03 pm

I would LOVE to be a lucky winner! I have been tossing the idea of juicing for awhile now and I just can’t make the plunge on a $200 juicer to make it happen! I know I need to do this to tame my cravings for processed foods and get my health back after I gained 50lbs while pregnant.

caity perotti - February 9, 2012 - 6:04 pm

I would absolutely love to have a juicer. Not bc I need to lose lots of weight or because I’m experiencing lots of pain like some people have mentioned. I would love one bc plain and simple I would like to be healthier. Since having my daughter and feeding her baby food I’ve noticed how unhealthy I eat and all the unnecessary things I put into my body. I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to change my eating habits are to set a good example for my daughter. Pick me!!

Mary Clark - February 9, 2012 - 6:04 pm

A juicer, a juicer!!! Oh if I won this juicer, not only would it be the first thing I’ve won in a looooooong time, BUT it would be something that would change my life. My grandson is 3 and lives with us now. Before he and his Daddy moved in I felt low and had many sad days. Now that he is here I feel SO happy and my heart an soul are filled to the top with joy. Now I need my body to reflect how my heart feels. I want to live a long time and continue to enjoy him and be here for him. I’ve been overweight the past few years and I need a big kick start to my healthier me! Thanks for considering me. love to you both!

MistyAnn - February 9, 2012 - 6:04 pm

I cant get over how inspiring you are!

I’d like to win the Juicer for my husband.

He has such a BAD family history of everything it seems and Lord knows I can’t live without him. We can’t really afford to splurge fully in a good juicer, though I would love to, I’m am still kinda skeptical about it. So seeing your posts has helped me some with a decision. I am still waiting though, I’m curious to see how it goes (weight wise and health wise) for you for the next few weeks.

Your amazing and I can’t think you enough even for the chance to win one.

Stef W - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

I would love to win a juicer for two reasons: 1) I have been suffering from clotting in my brain for a year now and am having a procedure on Tuesday to find out why. I know I should be eating healthier to get rid of all the Toxins in my body so I can get whatever this is under controll! 2). My 15 month old son refuses to eat any fruits or veggies but will drink juice. He’s at the lowest percentile for weight so I have been looking into getting a juicer so I can make sure he is getting enough nutrition. Ok sorry that was way more than one short sentence! :)

Andrea Machado - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

Hi, I have been telling my husband now for months that we need to get one. We have 3 little ones, 4 y/o twins and a 23 month old. The stresses of life have gotten to us and we have watched our weight spiral out of control. We both would love nothing more then to reboot our health into the right direction. We have three little lives depending on us to be there for them. Whether or not I win, I will have a juicer in my life in the hopes to better it. Thank you for this opportunity. Once again, your kindness is contagious. Sincerely, Andrea

Tyler Roe - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

I would love to win … Decided that I need to get healthy for our new addition … I want to be the healthiest that I can be

Bobbie Lyons - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

I would be so very grateful to win this juicer! I used to juice all the time, then my sweet husband broke my juicer as he was cleaning it! :) I have so many reasons to juice, I suffer from migranes and joint pain, among other things. My two year old loves fresh juice, and I’m sure he’s been missing it lately! My dad just started juicing again for his heart health, and I know I need to as well, to take care of my heart! Thank you for this giveaway, no matter who wins, it’s a great way to get healthier and feel better!

Sue Kowalski - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

I would loooove to win this juicer! I rarely eat any vegetables which of course is not a good role model for my 3 and 5yr olds! Especially when I’m trying to feed them healthy fruits/veggies when I don’t even eat them myself! With this juicer, we can easily hide veggies we don’t like with those we do! :)
Thanks, Lydia!

Kristi Boshell - February 9, 2012 - 6:06 pm

Thanks so much for the giveaway. I’m trying to make a lot healthy changes with my family. I have never “juiced” before but Would love to start. No real health issues, just want to teach my children a healthier lifestyle.

Ashley W. - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

Winning the juicer would be fantastic for me because I’m wanting to have better health.. I would absolute use the juicer every day, and thank you very for having such a generous give away. The opportunity is so very generous. Thank you <3

Kellen - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

Kellen Helies kellen_mcfadden@yahoo.com
I would love to try this because I wake every morning and go to bed every night with a severe headache…and after following your juice journey im hopeful for relief and the added health benefits from it.

Lacy Chitwood - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

I love following your blog and especially your juicing! We recently bought a VitaMix and my husband had been doing very well with drinking anything I put together but it’s more like a smoothie than a juice. I am not the healthiest eater but I try, lol. My hubby is in the army and always looking for ways to stay fit and I think a juicer would be a great addition to our kitchen.
Glad you are rid of headaches (even if just a break from them) and feeling better

julie Cruz - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

I am so intrigued by juicing. I had 4 kuds in 4 years and despite a low calorie diet and exercising 6 days a week i just cant seem to get tge weight off. It is affecting my health, and unfortunately my marriage. I am not sure what else to do. Anyway, would love to try this not only for me and my health, but for my kids and family too. Thank you for the opportunity.

Chasity R - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

I am 23 years old and i feel like i am 63. I have chronic pain in my arms and legs that cant seem to be explained to me by any doctor. At first the answer was dehydration and drinking a ton of water helped for a while but now the pain is back along with migraines causing nausea and vision distortion! I just want to feel 23 again! I have had to give up so many things because of this pain and i just wonder if this could help me too.

Jackie Noles - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

I NEED to do something to get more healthy and feel better for my 3 year old daughter, this could help me in my journey, You inspire me :)

Jenny - February 9, 2012 - 6:07 pm

I sooo want this juicer! I hope it will get my husband who has Crohn disease to start juicing :-) Thanks!

Sarah Jane - February 9, 2012 - 6:08 pm

I would like this juicer because I LOVE juice and would like to make my own juice, especially the closer we get to summer when everything is so fresh.

Mary Forrester - February 9, 2012 - 6:08 pm

Your posts inspired me and today I went out and loaded up on fruits and veggies. I plan to try juicing in my food processer. I am unemployed and could in no way afford a juicer so somehow I will make it work. After smoking for over 40 years I quit in October and have gained 15 pounds; Girl Scout cookies didn’t help…! I am also in quite a bit of pain from sciatica and have trouble sleeping with RLS so at my age I need a REAL detox and would love to win the REAL juicer. Thanks for all you do and I so enjoy your pictures and posts.

Gina Ullman - February 9, 2012 - 6:08 pm

Would LOVE to win the juicer…. I think the benefits of juicing is what our family is need of. Many blessings and prosperous health to you.

Sue Kowalski - February 9, 2012 - 6:09 pm

Yikes! Just realized I misspelled your name, Lidia, in my 1st post! Hope that isn’t an automatic disqualification. :-)

Danielle - February 9, 2012 - 6:10 pm

I’ve been wanting a juicer, and this brand too. We do lots of green smoothies, but haven’t tried jucing even though I want to.

SHELLI PATTIE - February 9, 2012 - 6:11 pm

Just like yourself I suffered from C-Diff almost 2 years ago. I was literally a week away from dying. My stomach and my body just doesn’t seem to be the same. I have tried everything from walking, drinking lots of water, ect. I seem to always feel sluggish and just tired by noon. My stomach looks and feels like I’m 3 months pregnant. I recently started making fruit smoothies in my magic bullet because that’s all I have and started walking at night. As a mother of 4 kids, I want to feel healthy and losing some weight with it….what a bonus! Thank you for your inspiration! Not only with you lifestyle, you work, but your attitude!

jessica austin - February 9, 2012 - 6:11 pm

I am 360lbs…and a mother of 3 beauties…before anyone judges, yes I’ve tried pills, diets, exercise, etc & nothing. I have tried it all and upon failing once again, sunk into a huge depression after the birth of mydaughter last May. I realize that I MUST be around for them. There is no one for them if im not here…no one. I have the 3, singlemost important reasons to get healthy hug me goodbye every morning…what if its the last time? I know now, now that mentally ive healed, that i need to heal physically. I’ve always wanted a juicer but never wanted to buy the cheap ones, cant afford the best ones. I owe it to my children & mostly to myself. Thank you for your generosity. I’m finally ready for my lifestyle change…the forever one. My children deserve the best out of me & its about time I give it to them.

Lisa Howard - February 9, 2012 - 6:13 pm

I would LOVE to win the juicer! I had my daughter almost 2 years ago at which I gained 60 pounds, I have only lost 10 lbs since then. Ever since her birth I have felt something is wrong. I feel sick everyday, I am always tired. For over 6 months I have been getting the worst headaches everyday (I wake up with them), and I have had many brain fog moments. I have an apt to see a neurologist next month. I would love to see if a change in lifestyle could take away this feeling. Thank you for this chance.

Vicky Rasmussen - February 9, 2012 - 6:13 pm

Would love to win this!

Kristina Greiner - February 9, 2012 - 6:14 pm

I would love this juicer to try your juice fast! I am still trying to lose the final pounds from my pregnancy weight and this sounds like an awesome and healthy fast :)

Amy Racca - February 9, 2012 - 6:14 pm

I have some family members encouraging me to try juicing, but I have not talked myself into it yet. Winning a juicer would is just what I need! Thanks for the opportunity!!!

Tracie - February 9, 2012 - 6:14 pm

Anything is better than using a blender for juice :)

Kandy hollimon - February 9, 2012 - 6:15 pm

I would love to win the juicer , me and my daughter are trying to lose weight . She is 14 and struggling with her weight , I am trying really hard to help her as much as I can and this would be another tool to help us along the way! I hope the juicer really helps you with your health! Hugs :)

Jenna J - February 9, 2012 - 6:16 pm

I would love to win this juicer as I have been battling MSG poisoning. I used to feel so dizzy and sick daily and have realized that it was the food that I was eating. Now I am trying to learn to eat food that doesn’t contain it or aspertame and it’s been so hard. This would be so helpful in eating/drinking clean! Thank you for the chance :) So glad your headaches are gone!!

Martha Hansen Carlson - February 9, 2012 - 6:16 pm

Two years ago I dealt with a serious illness followed by major surgery. I have been reading how juicing has helped with your chronic pain and headaches, both which I suffer from on an ongoing basis since my surgery and cancer scare. I would love to be able to try this for myself and see if it would help with these issues. I do not have the financial means to purchase a juicer at this time and this would be a wonderful opportunity to try the Breville Juicer!

Lidia – Thank you for giving us a chance to share your wonderful discovery and helping out those that can really benefit from winning this juicer! I appreciate your generosity in doing this giveaway. You are a kind and thoughtful soul to share all you do with online friends you have never met…. and all the while dealing with your own struggles. May good things come your way tenfold!

stephany burcham - February 9, 2012 - 6:18 pm

I was going to comment on why I should win, however, after reading the above comments, I see there are many other that deserve and need it more than me! You are a wonderful person, and your story is so inspiring! thank you so much for your inspiration, and thoughtfulness!

Kristi McCord - February 9, 2012 - 6:19 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I an very interested in your lack of headaches/body aches, and your increased energy level. I am thrilled for you, and thank you so much (AGAIN) for this awesome opportunity!

Cortney - February 9, 2012 - 6:20 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I follow you on fb and your recent posts have really inspired me to eat healthier. Juicing sounds like just the thing I need to try. I never have very much energy. Thank you for being the generous person that you are and for inspiring people, like me, to do great things. <3

Jessica Klaus - February 9, 2012 - 6:20 pm

First off Lidia you are amazing! You are so blessed to be able to keep doing these awesome giveaways!! I hope one day I am in your position and able to help others the way you do! I have psoriasis and I know that a healthy diet is one way to really help auto-immune diseases. This would be a way to get the things I need to help my body stay healthy. Your post have inspired me to try juicing as well!

Jenn luciano - February 9, 2012 - 6:20 pm

oh my, there are so many reasons I would love to win this juicer and all are health related… Aches and pains from inflammatory arthritis, C-Diff that has screwed up my digestion and such a lack of energy… I’m 45 and have no energy and my youngest daughter is missing out on so much of her momma because I’m always dragging. I would love for my headaches to go on vacation and to perk up so I can do more with my daughter, I feel like not only does Tia ( my daughter) miss out on time with me I’m missing out on her and before I know it she’ll be completely grown and this time can never be recaptured…

Mallory Francks - February 9, 2012 - 6:21 pm

Hi Lidia! First off, let me start by saying: HUGE FAN! I think you are not only a fantastic photographer, but a beautiful and inspirational person as well. :) I would love to win this juicer because, after my second c-section 9 months ago, I am having a hard time getting back into shape and cry weekly because I have a hard time keeping up with my two kids. My 4 year old is always sad that I can’t run and play soccer with him and it breaks my heart. It would beneficial not only for me but for them as well. Thank you for being such an inspiration! :)

analee thornburg - February 9, 2012 - 6:23 pm

what a great giveaway! i hope to hear your precious daughter say my name! but, i’ll be happy hearing her say anyone’s name! especially if is one that is hard to pronounce! i have always wanted a juicer and never splurged. this will be a great excuse to do the juice fast just like you are doing. i’m already a vegetarian (almost vegan, just can’t cut out all the cheese) and i think this would be a great kick for a vegan lent!

Lacey A. - February 9, 2012 - 6:24 pm

First off “Hi Isadora!” I love your personal unique style and enjoy seeing your outfit of the day posted by your mom :) I started reading through many of the comments and thought someone here must deserve/need this more than me. I closed the page and decided to return, so here I am! Reading about your pain made me feel like I’m not the only “young” person in the world dealing with pain. I will be 30 this summer and I feel like I’m 90 years old and crippled a majority of the time. I deal with constant pain on the entire left side of my body from head to toe, due to sitting at a desk for 8+ years. I’ve tried pain killers, back injections, gels, patches, you name it… nothing has helped, or it only caused another side effect (just like you have experienced). I finally stopped everything and just decided to deal with the pain. I have never felt like this in my life and realize how much it affects my usual bubbly personality… now I just want to rest and deal with the pain alone most of the time. I also eat very healthy like you, but it doesn’t seem to make that big of a difference. I haven’t known what else to try until now, I’m amazed with how the juicing has helped you in a matter of days!!! I would love to try juicing, but cannot afford a machine. I would promise to really give the juicing an honest go, if I won the machine. Thank you for sharing so much of your personal life with all of us and for motivating me at the same time to believe that I too can have a successful photography business once I get going :-)

Shaena Fremont - February 9, 2012 - 6:24 pm

My mom has been telling me that I need to do juicing, to detoxify my body, so this would be a great start for me! I am so happy to hear that you are already doing so well! Thank you for sharing your journey and generosity!! God Bless!!

Ana Guerrero - February 9, 2012 - 6:25 pm

I’d love to win this juicer as I’m trying to improve my health. Thank you!

Kelly Barlow - February 9, 2012 - 6:25 pm

Hi Lidia, My name is Kelly and my e-mail address is: kellysabusymom@yahoo.com. Having a juicer could change my life. Like you, I suffer from headaches. I have had migraines since an early age of 13. I am constantly taking medicine. In the past year I have also become extremely tired. With your testimony and the testimony of others I know juicing could help me. Thank you so much for doing this!

Carina Thornton - February 9, 2012 - 6:25 pm

I switched to an organic vegan diet for health reasons and have been sticking with it for 7 weeks now! This juicer has been on my wish list for a long time…

Melanie Hood - February 9, 2012 - 6:25 pm

YAY!! I have wanted a Breville juicer since watching the documentary, FAT SICK AND NEARLY DEAD; I would use this juicer to help me get vitamins and nutrients I need due to not being able to take supplements because of ongoing ulcers that upset my stomach. Thanks! <3 :-D

Tiffany McCollum - February 9, 2012 - 6:27 pm

Once again you amaze us with another wonderful giveaway!

I would love to win this juicer because my fiance and I really need to start being healthy and making better food choices and this would be a sure jump start to a better life! To whomever wins I hope they enjoy it to the fullest!! :D

Thanks for everything you do for your followers/customers/friends!

Claudia Black - February 9, 2012 - 6:27 pm

I would love to win this not only would it help me but my husband as well. With his upcoming deployment and a 16 month old wild little girl, he’s always doing some type of training, we are always running around, we don’t really pay attention to what we eat. We would love to win this I feel like it will be the first step to better our health :)
Thank you for doing this!

Michele Martell - February 9, 2012 - 6:27 pm

This past year I have been going through issues with my stomach and bowels. At first thought it appeared to be gluten related and when I eliminated gluten from my diet I felt better. I went for testing for celiac but the tests have been inconclusive at this point and further testing is required to be 100% sure. I am still having issues so thought maybe it might be lactose that is bothering me as well. I have cut all gluten and lactose from my diet and I still seem to be having issues but not to the degree I was before. My body aches and I am tired all the time….it is truly an effort to get through my workday. On top of it all, I suffer from migraine headaches too. When I started reading about your juice diet, I thought this might be what I need to try to heal my stomach and bowels. I am so tired of being tired and being in pain most every day. I bloat up like I am pregnant among other uncomfortable symptoms. I am scheduled for an ultrasound tomorrow and waiting for an appointment with a specialist and I hope I can get some answers as to what is going on so I can address the problem and start to heal. I would love to win one of the juicers you are giving away….from what I read, the Brevilles are the best there is! Anything is worth a try to get back to feeling normal again. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try to win one! xo

Elaina Cowdell - February 9, 2012 - 6:28 pm

Lidia, since I have found your page, you have been amazingly influential in my life. I have been cancer free for 18 years now. I was pregnant in my last trimester with my first child when I started coming down with symptoms all over…I was seeing all kinds of doctors..from my dentist to a dermatologist as well as my OB/GYN…no one knew what was going on, so they took my girl c-section early. It took them another 3 months after she was born to finally diagnose me with Acute Mylocetic Luekemia. I spent the next year in and out of the hospital (3 weeks in, 1 week out at a time) with big chemo treatments…and almost died when they overdosed me with chemo on one of my last treatments (not anyone’s fault, my body just finally had enough). That was a tough year…I pretty much missed my baby growing up…but I am grateful everyday that I am here to see her AND my other little girl (which they said I would possibly not have due to damage from chemo) grow up to be fine young women. I was given this gift of life and I need to take care of it so I can grow old and see my grandkids! Even if I don’t win, you have made me want to get healthier so I can keep enjoying life! You help me continue to keep everything in prespective and balanced. life is too short not to enjoy it! Thank you!

Amanda Trebley - February 9, 2012 - 6:28 pm

I am the mother of two under two, I need something to jump start my body to have energy again and motivate me to be healthier not only for me but for my son and daughter.

lisa vaughn - February 9, 2012 - 6:29 pm

I love following you, not only for your photography inspiration, but also just the zest and excitement you show in life. I would love to try this juicing diet, I am a new mommy and I’m nursing my son and I think this would be great for both of our health!

Wendi H. - February 9, 2012 - 6:29 pm

I started juicing about a month ago and like you, have noticed a huge change in the way I feel. I have a $30 juicer that is already showing signs of breaking down. I have heard so many good things about Breville and would LOVE to own one. Good for you for taking steps to a healthier way of living. It truly makes a difference in how you feel. Thank you for doing this giveaway!!

Natacha Vanmeenen - February 9, 2012 - 6:30 pm

Thumbs up for you! You overcame so much in life, no doubt you will do the 2 weeks.
I started the New Year with having a green smoothy a day and I already feel a difference. I do the smoothy with a handmixer. I would love to do a juice feast and have daily juices afterwards but a good juicer is out of my financially reach at the moment. Thanks for the chance to win one!

Cathy Schriener - February 9, 2012 - 6:30 pm

I would love to win this juicer to better my health! Thank you for the giveaway!

Maritza Morales - February 9, 2012 - 6:32 pm

OH I would love to win this juicer, but reading some of these comments I don’t think I needed as bad as some of these people!! Your awesome for having the giveaway!! :-) Good luck everyone!!

Ligia - February 9, 2012 - 6:33 pm

I follow your posts and simply adore your colorful photography. My husband and I transport cars from CA to TX every other week which means we’re on the road a lot eating whatever the route has to offer. When we’re home, we try to undo the damage by eating vegan/raw homemade food. Anything to boost our energy and help shed the “road-trip weight” gain would be much appreciated. Thanks for this encouraging giveaway. ♥♥♥

Storie - February 9, 2012 - 6:35 pm

Since reading your post on FB all I can think about is a juicer!!! Please Please Please, PICK ME!!!

Ann Yang - February 9, 2012 - 6:38 pm

Hi! What a great idea! I love when people discover things or love something, and they share it. I would love to win this juicer because this juicer would be a perfect fit to the changes I have made in living a healthier lifestyle. When I returned back to work from spring break last year (May 2011), I decided I needed to really take better care of myself and be a leading example for my daughter who is currently 10. Since then, I have gotten myself out of the obese weight range, and I am working on getting out of the overweight range. I have lost a total of 33 pounds from my max weight just by changing eating habits, eating healthier, staying active and making my health a priority. I finally got my husband and daughter on board (for the most part) since the end of December. It wasn’t an easy task but we now eat healthier and stay active together as a family. This juicer would be a great source to help my two picky eaters incorporate many fruits and vegetables into their diet. And of course, it would another way I can enjoy all the fruits and vegetables I already love. I’m excited and good luck to everyone. Thank you!

Erika Moore - February 9, 2012 - 6:38 pm

I would love to win this juicer!! A few friends of mine have been doing what you’re doing & I would love to try it out! My family loves juice as well so I could always make fresh juice from home :D Thank You so much for the chance to win one!

Kelli Davis - February 9, 2012 - 6:42 pm

Hi! I’ve been suffering with migraines for years and feel like I’ve tried just about everything. I’ve been to numerous doctors and still nothing. I have 2 children and it makes it very difficult to keep up and just do the day to day stuff. I’d love to win this!

Emma Burcusel - February 9, 2012 - 6:42 pm

I would love to finally own a juicer. Yes i never had one but instead i use the blender to prepare something healthy for my 2 little boys. I am very health conscious and i wish i could afford to get everything organic but i am doing the best i can for the health of my family.
I would love to have a juicer so that my boys (2 and 4) would love more healthy juice, they do not like everything because of the texture. God bless you and wish you health.

Carol Green - February 9, 2012 - 6:43 pm

I too suffer from headaches and feeling tired all the time. Reading your post has me thinking about what I am eating on a daily basis(junk:)) . Would love to try the juice diet out and hopefully have energy and No headaches:)

Jeannette Wells - February 9, 2012 - 6:43 pm

I would love to have a juicer!! I’ve recently increased my fruit intake but I’m still struggling a little with vegetables and a juicer would be a big help! I have a 15 month old daughter and still need to lose about 10 lbs. We also make all of her food at home with organic meat, fruits and vegetables. A juicer would help us to give her a large variety! Thank you for the opportunity!!

Sara Beth - February 9, 2012 - 6:44 pm

This giveaway couldn’t come at a better time. I just started working out for the first time since after my 2nd little boy was arrived and I am having a rough go with my results. It feels great to be active and taking care of myself again but I feel like I am missing a piece and this could be it. Please consider this entry as the winning one! Allie Wiley - February 9, 2012 - 6:56 pm

I would love to have this juicer. I have been thinking of doing a juice fast for about a month now. Im just tired of feeling run down and like my body is full of toxins.
Im so glad that your headaches have gone away! Thank you so much for a chance to win this, you are so giving and I love reading your inspirational thoughts!

Jennifer Cook - February 9, 2012 - 6:57 pm

You are so generous! I was recently diagnosed with some health problems, and my husband has high cholesterol. We’ve been talking about adding juicing to our diets but don’t have a juicer! I’m really hoping that we can fix many of our health problems with food instead if pills, like you. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Ferne Emery - February 9, 2012 - 6:57 pm

I’ve been wanting to try juicing for health reasons. I have had a lot of stomach issues since I gave birth to my son, who is now three, and juicing is such an awesome way to heal ourselves, and I love reading how it’s making you feel better!

Ferne Emery

Julia Test - February 9, 2012 - 6:57 pm

I would love to win this juicer to help with my weight loss battle, but truth be told I would completely give it to a very deserving friend. When I met her she was my son’s teacher and when I needed someone she was there because she has committed her life to others. Last fall she was diagnosed with a rapidly spreading cancer, all the chemicals and drugs have taken a toll on her body and emotions. With everything she is enduring she still gets out of bed to teach as many days a week that she can because she will not let her kids down. Even when she found out her mother was diagnosed with colon cancer, she got up to head to school. I believe juicing would help her energy level, health, and most importantly her spirit and would change the life of each child who steps foot in her classroom just as it changed my and my family’s life when my son walked into her classroom.

James Emery - February 9, 2012 - 7:00 pm

We make our own organic applejuice, and our juicer is on the fritz. Thanks for your generosity.

James Emery

Kya B - February 9, 2012 - 7:01 pm

Doctor to Doctor, Pill to Pill, CT drinks that make you re-think every drink that has ever touched your mouth, Money spent that you don’t have for the same information, its hard…hopeless, but encouraging to find whats right out there, and this is hope, so best of luck to everyone, because we could all use a little bit of hope shining through all the yuck and the muck ! Thank you for the beautiful opportunity ! :D D

tamsen - February 9, 2012 - 7:01 pm

i want to win a juicer because I want to have more energy and be healthy again! i’m so done with being constantly exhausted :(

Jenn - February 9, 2012 - 7:02 pm

I am a 31 year old mommy to 4. I have a muscle disease called polymyositis as well as a few other auto-immune diseases. My body doesn’t fight infection well and I get sore and tire easily. I have heard wonderful things about juice diets and such but need a jump start to doing it I guess! Winning this would be a huge blessing! Thanks for the awesome giveaway! Your story is inspiring.

Marisa - February 9, 2012 - 7:04 pm

Once again your generosity amazes me! This juicer would be a blessing so I too can alleviate my dabilitating headaches without the use of pills and help me sneakily incorporate more vegetables into my children’s diet.

Dawn Alicea - February 9, 2012 - 7:05 pm

Thank you again for your generosity! Even if I don’t win I am very happy to know that 2 peoples lives will be changed by your giving heart.
I would love to win one of these lovely juicers so I can feel better physically and mentally. So I can be a better mother to my children and a better wife to my wonderful husband.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Tasha Foote - February 9, 2012 - 7:05 pm

I’ve considered juicing on and off for awhile now. Reading your results inspired me to read further in other sites as well. It’s something that I don’t feel I should put off any longer. I’m a busy mother of 5 beautiful children. Luckily they have all been blessed with good health. I pray everyday that it’s stays that way an try to instill healthy habits and choices in them. I suffer from headaches and back pain as well as bad wrists and have been putting off cortisone shots recommended by my doctor because, well frankly it scares me. My second oldest son is a very picky eater and I try my best to sneak things into meals using a food processor. I would love a juicer ( that I frankly can’t afford) to continue and further the healthy lifestyle for my big family. Thank you so much for your generous giveaway and for your insight into your peraonal and family trials, tribulations and joyous times also. I always look forward to your updates :)

Veronica Borda - February 9, 2012 - 7:07 pm

I have been wanting a breville for sometime now. My dear friend has been juicing with the same juicer (breville) for almost 5 months now and she feels and looks great. She’s full of energy, in great health, and happy. She has a lot of problems which is why she started. She was never able to have a normal regular menstrual cycle and was not able to conceive. Now she is starting to have normal menstrual cycles! Because of her me and my husband both want to start juicing. Unfortunately we are not able the breville juicer right now. When I saw you too were starting to juice and that the juicer too was the breville! I got so excited to see your story which I knew was going to be a good, happy story. I would love to when the breville to join both my friend and yourself in becoming healthy since I know I do need it plus I want to show my kids how to eat healthy as well. Thank you so much for allowing me this opportunity to have a chance at winning! God bless.

I never win anything… But here is another try. I have two little girls, and they both LOVE juice. I think that would be so much easier to make some REAL juice, and for myself, since i dont eat breakfast, a quick veggie juice would be a perfect start to my day. I would love to buy one, but we cannot afford one!
Thank you so much.

Karolina Wright - February 9, 2012 - 7:10 pm

Betsi Luce - February 9, 2012 - 7:15 pm

YUM! All the veggies and fruits look wonderful, I have been wanting a juicer for awhile now. Joined our local YMCA to finally begin getting healthier and losing weight along with my family. I hope to inspire my family to follow along as one of my sons has health issues that need addressing. We both love the energy health drinks that they serve there, but it is taking atoll on the pocket book, so we have decided we need to get our own juicer and continue on at home! Crossing my fingers that we win!

Peggy/DogBreedz.net - February 9, 2012 - 7:45 pm

Oh my! With all these replies, how is your daughter going to be able to choose?! I’ve been wanting a juicer for over two years now (Jack LaLane convinced me). But coming off a major car accident, and the economy, I just haven’t been in a position to do this. I can promise that if one of these lovely juicers earns a place in my kitchen it WILL be used. Not only that, I will look for recipes to find out what I can juice to add to my dogs’ food too – so it would help me, my roommate and the three dogs, to boot!

I think it is wonderful that you are doing this! I believe in giving back to the community, to others. In 2002 I began a Cocker Spaniel Rescue here in San Diego and ran it for 8 years until I stepped down to concentrate on my photography (pet photography, naturally). I’m working on plans for another local non-profit, that could easily expand to a national group, helping those pet owners who have suffered misfortune. Being gifted this juicer would allow me a way to take better care of myself, so I could continue on in helping others.

PS – your kitchen is BEAUTIFUL!!!

kristina coam - February 9, 2012 - 7:47 pm

Hi there Lidia and Isadora. Thanks for the give away. I would love this juicer. For a while I was making smoothies with a blender and have burned up both motors. Since then I haven’t made them. I guess you get what you pay for when they’re under $50.
Just incase I’m lucky and Isadora picks my #…..Young lady, you have a beautiful voice and have your mothers positive outlook on life. You will go far.

Peggy/DogBreedz.net - February 9, 2012 - 7:49 pm

I forgot to leave my email: DogBreedz (at) yahoo (dot) com. Oh, and you said short sentence! Here’s the short version: if one of these wonderful juicers found a home in my kitchen, it would benefit me, my roommate and our three dogs, too!

Kelley Bennett - February 9, 2012 - 7:50 pm

Been wanting to try juicing for many years now; this would be a great way to start – thanks for your continued generousity Lidia!

May Bennett - February 9, 2012 - 7:52 pm

I need to lose weight, I just don’t know how…I have a very difficult time not giving in and eating whatever is here and easy. I want to show my daughter the right way to eat and I want to be around for her, I know that if I don’t lose the weight I won’t be. Anyways maybe this is what I need to give myself a clean start!

Diane Bowen - February 9, 2012 - 7:53 pm

I would love to own a juicer. My parents have one an I love the yummy healthy juices that they make. I think this would be a great way to get my kids to eat more fruits and veggies.

Rebecca Kyle - February 9, 2012 - 7:53 pm

You are an amazing and generous spirit for doing this give away. You impress me everyday with your outlook on life. Thank you! -Rebecca Kyle arghkay@gmail.com

Kristan K - February 9, 2012 - 7:56 pm

Lidia, Thank you so much for this giveaway. I would love to have this juicer. I need to start loosing weight and getting healthier. When I was 25, I found out that I have Rheumatic Heart Disease. Jessi - February 9, 2012 - 7:57 pm

I would love to have a juicer for my family. We’re moving quickly along the path of getting our eating habits healthier. While I have been making a lot of smoothies, I would love to be able to enter the world of juicing and getting all those great nutrients in.

Briana Crowe - February 9, 2012 - 7:58 pm

After almost loosing my mother in a terrible car accident, I realized what I had been taking for granted. I saw what she went through, sitting in hospital after hospital, and I realized how lucky I am to be in good health. I do not want to win this for me. Although it would be nice, I know my mom truly deserves this. I would be so blessed to win this, I hope that little Isadora picks us… You are just giving away your heart and I really admire you for doing so. “There is more happiness in giving than recieving.”

Diane Poff - February 9, 2012 - 8:02 pm

I am 47, in the past few years, I have not been feeling like myself. Des tests show everything is okay. I’m tired all the time, I get headaches a lot I even get vision migraines. I am tired of feeling this way, this juicing may be the trick. There’s a photographer on FB that is doing this too and age is having great results too. So, I would love to give it a try.

Bonnie - February 9, 2012 - 8:02 pm

Man, after reading these posts, I couldn’t decide whether or not I should try to win the juicer. There are so many people with health issues that probably need it more than I. I am pretty healthy, I have a few extra pounds, and I won’t bore you with the details of my aches and pains of getting older. All that being said, I would love to have a juicer. If I won, I would probably use it, and then share it with my sister whose family is also suffering from some strange health issues. Do I deserve it more than anyone else? Nope. But if you are picking randomly, here is my shot. Have a blessed day! bonniehillphotos@aol.com

Carmen - February 9, 2012 - 8:06 pm

Like many, getting healthy is a goal. Losing weight and sleeping are 2 of my main goals. This would give me the kick start that I need to get my butt in gear. So glad to hear it’s helping you even if you are still skeptical! Whatever works right?! :)

Brenda Mason - February 9, 2012 - 8:06 pm

I really need to get on a healthy eating plan, not just to lose some weight, but to get feeling better again too.

Amy Roach - February 9, 2012 - 8:11 pm

Wow. I am so inspired. Your post spoke to me. I have been trying to recover from an auto accident for a year and a half now and, two surgeries, months of therapy, cortizone shots, MRIs, xrays, i feel just horrible. I have started to look into nutrition as a possible option, and boom. I stumbled onto your blog last week. I would love to win the juicer for myself and family. Good luck and thank for the inspiration.

Debi Moore - February 9, 2012 - 8:11 pm

This is February … American Heart awareness month. Breast cancer survivors wear pink – we wear red this month. 13 years ago, I was a 45 year old Energizer Bunny when I suddenly learned I needed open heart surgery to ‘repair’ a valve. This surgery was a true open heart surgery – they had to take my heart out and cut it in half to get to the mitral valve. I kept thinking I was out of shape since I was short of breath and falling asleep. I cried so hard when the Cardiologist told me the news. Not me!!! After cracking me open, there was not a valve to repair. I was given a top of the line titanium prosthetic heart valve because of my good health and age. I now click like a Timex watch. Arthritis has set into my breastbone and I had to sell my business and go on disability. I was to have the valve replaced after 10 years and I have made it to almost 14 years!!! It was pretty sad to hear a judge say that I had a deteriorating heart and grant me disability. I did juicing right after my surgery for my health and the results were fantastic. My juicer is old now and I haven’t used it in years. Whether I win this or not, your testimony reminds me that I need to invest in my health and look into a new one. I have beat the odds of 10 years and I want to keep going. What a great thing to win during Heart Awareness month.

cayce wegman - February 9, 2012 - 8:13 pm

I would love to win this massive juicer, mainly because i’m very curious of juicing and also I probably would never buy one for myself ;)

Michelle - February 9, 2012 - 8:14 pm

Like you Lidia I am a survivor, with 2 little girls, one 9 and one 6 like Isadora. We all need to get more fruits and veggies in our diets and juicing seems to be a great way. Started reading Crazy Sexy Diet and it is inspirational.

Blessings !

Jamie Franklin - February 9, 2012 - 8:16 pm

I am so glad that you are feeling better! I have 2 kids born 14 months apart and I am always feeling tired and run down, no matter what I eat. I would love to experience the joys of juicing! I am trying to make smoothies with veg and fruit and yogurt in the blender but am thinking that it would taste better if juiced. Thanks!

Alison M. - February 9, 2012 - 8:23 pm

1. I have four young kids.
2. I need to lose weight.
3. Health.
I could go on and on…
What a great give-away!

Debi Yoder - February 9, 2012 - 8:24 pm

I am 43 and very over weight and have been struggling with my weight for a long time. For a long time I have also struggled with being tired and having no energy. I am now working out at a gym everyday and doing my best to watch what I eat. I would love this juicer to help me on my diet, losing weight, and helping me feel better all the way around. I to want to feel good again. I am glad this is helping you…it sounds like a wonderful idea. Would love to be able to do it. Thanks for the giveaway…..Good luck everyone!!!

Kristen Cook - February 9, 2012 - 8:25 pm

I have been eyeing this exact juicer! I am wanting to juice purely for a healthier me and the energy benefits of being healthier. I’ve been borrowing my sister’s juicer and making myself a breakfast drink occasionally. She just took it back so she could do a juice fast, so I am without my energy maker! I feel so good when I start the day with my fruits and veggies. Thank you for this fabulous opportunity!

Cara Kelii - February 9, 2012 - 8:26 pm

I will enter this contest with the hopes of winning ..;) lol But, I must say— I am the type of person who is fair and I would like to say to everyone— good luck and may the person who is in need most receive this wonderful gift!!;)
There are many reasons I would LOVE this gift… Yes, I admit , I am a tired mom of 4 & after having 4 surgeries on my arm I find myself not taking the time for myself… But, My family always comes first . I still work late nights waitressing to help with household bills & run a photography business! I get weekly headaches from muscle issues from my surgery and I annoy myself every time I find myself complaining….So- I’m gonna stop here and just say, I’m sure some extra vitamin juice would do my body good!!!;) Well, I wish us all luck! Much Alohas!!!

Teresa - February 9, 2012 - 8:27 pm

I have a toddler and a 3 month old….I have been so busy with my business and taking care of my little one’s that I haven’t been taking the best care of myself! This would be a great way to start the process of getting Healty again! Either way I am going to go for it:) You are so kind to do this!

Lisa Demetro - February 9, 2012 - 8:30 pm

I am a single mom of 2 little girls, 3 and 19 months… Like you, I am pretty strict about what I give my girls…however, I’m not so strict with myself. I often skip meals because of my crazy work schedule, and I realize this is not ok. I have been telling myself I wanted to do the 10 day juice fast after watching ‘Fat, sick and nearly dead’ but have been making excuses as to why I can’t. I know right now, a juicer like this isn’t in our budget, so to win it would be amazing! I promise to keep you updated as to how my health changes! :)

Sarah Gorden - February 9, 2012 - 8:37 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I have been through a lot due to a chronic medical condition and would love to see if juicing could give me more energy and help with pain and other things. It would also be a great way to get fruit & veggies in that I wouldn’t ordinarily eat. Thank you for the contest!

Silvia Torres - February 9, 2012 - 8:40 pm

I’d like to win this juicer so that my husband and I will start a journey to better health and be around for a long time to enjoy our little two year old princess.

Erin Brown - February 9, 2012 - 8:40 pm

Thank you for sharing your experince doing a juice fast, you are helping me see that it really can be done. My husband and I recently watched “Sick, Fat, and nearly Dead” and were inspired to do something drastic to better our health. We wanted to add juicing to our diet but, like so many others buying a juicer isn’t currently in the budget. Thank you for the chance to win one of these great juicers.

Tammy Bilodeau - February 9, 2012 - 8:41 pm

Oh I’d love a juicer. I do a cleanse 3-4 times a yr and this could make it much easier. Thanks!

KimChi Hoang - February 9, 2012 - 8:42 pm

WOW! This is so generous of you to try to get others to live healthier. Reading your post has really inspired me and my family to want to start to eat and live a more active and healthy life. If you’re able to survive what you went thru and come out with a positive attitude, then I can too. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

Caet Gall - February 9, 2012 - 8:47 pm

Hi, how generous!!=) I am a photographer and nanny.. (with lots of love). I would absolutely go wild over a great juicer to enjoy health and travel with to share with the kids!!! They would love it too!!! WOW!!! “Cheers” to our health & the healthy habits our children will emulate for years to come!!! <3

Flo - February 9, 2012 - 8:54 pm

I would love to have the juicer as part of my new healthy lifestyle but I can see that there are others with much more compelling stories than mine. I wish everyone luck on their path to healthier selves.

Autumn - February 9, 2012 - 8:55 pm

Im a health nut but haven’t been juicing like I should. I want to set a good example for my son and get him drinking fresh juice early on, especially green juices. Thank you Lidia!

Becky - February 9, 2012 - 8:56 pm

I would love to win this juicer. I am trying to eat better and would love to try the juice fast. I also think that if my kids seen me drink the juice they would try it too, which would help our whole family out in the quest to live a healthier lifestyle. Thanks for having this giveway! You are too kind!

Robin Norris - February 9, 2012 - 8:59 pm

I want to run a Marathon. The 10 day juice fast would be a great way to move my training to the next level.

Kayla L. - February 9, 2012 - 8:59 pm

This is an amazing giveaway! I desperately need to lose weight and cleanse my body. It seems as if everything I eat (I eat as healthy as possible) makes me sick. I’m losing weight but not the right way. It’s unwanted weight loss and the doctors don’t know what is causing my upset. I cannot afford a juicer but I’ve heard amazing benefits from juice fasts and have always been intrigued as to whether it would help me.

Melissa Pratt - February 9, 2012 - 9:00 pm

First off… Thanks for offering such an amazing giveaway. Whoever wins will be so lucky to have this and I hope it they find it helpful in whatever ailment they may be dealing with. I myself would love to win this because I’ve wanted a juicer for a long time… I’m a migraine sufferer and would love to reap some of the headache relief benefits. Also, my son has been chronically anemic and juicing iron rich foods into tasty concoctions for him would be absolutely amazing.
Thanks again.

Pam Cummings - February 9, 2012 - 9:05 pm

Wow…what a great opportunity. Very thoughtful of you to give aways such a great gift to help someone achieve more healthful goals. I personally would love to win this juicer. I like alot of moms, really need to focus on my health more. I am a special needs mom and would love to be able to make fresh juice and drinks for not only myself, but for my son also. Good luck to everyone! :o ) thanks again for this opportunity Lidia!

kay Jantzi - February 9, 2012 - 9:06 pm

You’ve been through so much suffering Lidia, but, more than that, through suffering and pain and an uncertain future many tines over, you have found that joy and contentment is found in a heart of gratitude, and the greatest blessing lies in the trial and the character growth that it brings. You are truly a selfless person with a heart of compassion and love for those around you. You inspire many with your words, determination and encouragement, myself included. If the juicer is working to subdue and heal your headaches, maybe these delicious, healthy juices would work for mine. I’d sure like to give it a try.

Janet Shoemaker - February 9, 2012 - 9:07 pm

You are so right about appreciating your health. I got a second chance after a successful partial nephrectomy in November and I plan to take good care of myself from now on! This juicer would be wonderful!

Nicole Schuette - February 9, 2012 - 9:08 pm

First of all, it’s wonderful to hear it has helped your stomach pain and headaches! My mother-in-law is into more of a holistic approach and I’ve learned popping pills is not always the answer. (they do have their time and place!) It would be super great to have a juicer. My kids love smoothies and it would be a great way to help incorporate a healthier lifestyle. I pray this continues to help you :)

Brittany Bradford - February 9, 2012 - 9:15 pm

I would love to start juicing. Cancer runs in both mine and my husbands families and protecting our bodies is so very important to us.

Tara Scott - February 9, 2012 - 9:17 pm

My husband is in the military and is deployed.. After a year apart from our 2 young daughters and I, he is going to come home in less than 3 months!! I am soooo excited!! I would absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win this juicer to really WOW him when he gets back! Not so much for the weight loss but to have the energy ;) and that “feel good” feeling in my body that will match the “feel good” feeling my heart will have.. Thank you so so much!! My girls, I’m sure, would also love to have some fresh juice too ;)

Kara Lawson - February 9, 2012 - 9:17 pm

This is so amazing of you to do. In 2005 I was diagnosed with gastric cancer. All the chemo I went through damaged my heart and I have undergone 3 heart surgeries and still have one more to go. In 2001 I broke my hip in a training excersize in the Marine Corps and will be having surgery for that this year all while taking care of a 5 month old miracle baby and husband deployed in Afghanistan. I would really like to have the juicer to help in all of my battles. Nothing but love for you Lidia and Isadora!!

staci zeller - February 9, 2012 - 9:29 pm

Almost 4 years out from gastric bypass and I know especially now how importantt is to take care of our bodies… and I’ve Always wanted a juicer!

Melanie Taylor - February 9, 2012 - 9:40 pm

Melanie Taylor – Melanieamber3@gmail.com

I would love to juice for my family. I am a breastfeeding mother so I try to eat healthy for my daughter & now I am trying to train her in healthy eating habits! THANKS! <3

Amanda H. - February 9, 2012 - 9:41 pm

I want to win for my mom. She is diabetic, and has lots of health problems. I have been trying to get her to juice for a while, but they are to stretched right now to do anything about it. This just might help!!! You are so generous! Thanks for giving others the opportunity to be healthy!

amanda onstott - February 9, 2012 - 9:48 pm

i also suffer from migraines and have been trying to eat a lot cleaner; see if that makes a difference in the frequency. i have been looking into juicing and winning this would be an answer to prayers! fingers crossed! you are so generous…a beautiful spirit.

Heather Maneke - February 9, 2012 - 9:53 pm

I have been reading your blog and decided to research this diet. I bought the video fat, sick and almost dead. My daughter who is 19 has always struggled with weight. It didn’t matter what diet I tried to cook her nothing worked. She has migraines daily and has now over 200 lbs. I would love to receive a Juicer for her. I think this is the first step she needs to take to be a healthier person. After watching that movie, I believe this will work for her.

Cassandra N - February 9, 2012 - 9:58 pm

I have a 2 year old daughter and 9 month old son, and we are always struggling to get enough fruits and veggies into all of our diets. They are both allergic to dairy, so finding creative ways of adding in the extra nutrients, vitamins, protein, and minerals that they require is a must! I would love this juicer, not only for myself, but for my whole family to give us a healthier boost!

Leslie C. - February 9, 2012 - 9:59 pm

For over 15 years I have been fighting with an inoperable brain tumor causing massive metabolic disorders, migraines, and memory loss. I would LOVE to be able to “feed” my body to win this war!

fayzeh kahala - February 9, 2012 - 10:05 pm

I want to win this juicer because I want to start a healthy diet and I think it would help me a lot, unlike most people I actually want to gain weight, after I had my baby I lost so much weight and its been a struggle for me to gain I’m 104 lb now and that’s not so healthy I don’t know what to do I eat everything and a lot but its not working, I’ve been told that its maybe from breast feeding but I really don’t want to stop, so maybe adding juicing with my meals would help. Thank you for being the person you are Lidia always thinking of new ways to help others.

Deena Hill - February 9, 2012 - 10:08 pm

I would so love to try juicing! I know I don’t get enough nutrients, and have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle for a couple years now. This would help me get the vitamins I know I need.

Britney Spoonemore - February 9, 2012 - 10:18 pm

There is nothing more important than our health and well being. Juicing is such a great way to get the nutrients that our bodies need. It’s difficult to get all the necessary fruits and veggies into our bodies every day. Juicing makes it possible and actually quite convenient. I’ve been wanting to start juicing for a long time now, but never could afford a juicer, soooo, keeping fingers crossed!:) Great idea for a giveaway!
-Britney Spoonemore

Amy Martinez - February 9, 2012 - 10:19 pm

Hi! I am a 35 year old Pre-K teacher and mother of two very active boys! I have struggled for years with migraine/tension headaches. I would love to win the juicer! I want to be healthier and feel better so that I can enjoy every minute with my boys and have the energy to keep up with my preschool kiddos!

Thank you so much for this opportunity!
God Bless

Lin Lee - February 9, 2012 - 10:45 pm

I would love to win this juicer to jumpstart a healthier lifestyle. I haven’t been living healthy in the past five years and need to start again for my health. Thank you for being so generous and good luck to everyone!

Stacie Davis - February 9, 2012 - 10:48 pm

I would love to win the juicer because I really need to take charge of my health and you are totally motivating me with the juicing!

Candace Howe - February 9, 2012 - 11:08 pm

I am so glad you wrote a blog about this!! I have been looking into buying a juicer for a while now since I am having some health problems. You’re an inspiration in SO many ways! Thank you for all you do!! I hope I win this but if not it’s still on my future shopping list! =)

Laurie - February 9, 2012 - 11:11 pm

I’ve considered starting the juice diet, but haven’t pushed myself to buy a juicer! I’m in the same boat as you – I don’t want to do this to lose weight, but to jump start a healthier body and get the nutrients it needs to be productive and fun, while having the energy to power through each day. Thanks in advance for the opportunity to potentially win this!

Gloria Nobles - February 9, 2012 - 11:14 pm

Lidia I love that you are such a positive person, and you are always sharing! I personally would love to win one of the juicers because I have been on an up-hill struggle to change my eating habits (not go on a diet), become a healthier me, and just be happier in general! I want to be healthy for myself of course, but also my future spouse & definitely my future children! This would be a great motivational gain, but even if I don’t win it…I’m NOT, I’m absolutely refusing to give up on my journey to a better me!

THANK YOU LIDIA…you’re the best!

Saphire Marie Copeland (Autumn Reiter) - February 9, 2012 - 11:26 pm

Wow Lidia you never fail to inspire others in so many ways. I would love to win one of these, I too suffer from honorably bad headaches and am unable to find a reason for them. I have never thought to try juicing. Thanks so much for your every day words of wisdom, inspiration and encouragement.

Chris Saunders - February 10, 2012 - 12:18 am

I would LOVE to win the Breville, because I’m juicing with a 12 year old Juiceman 2 and it is NOT cutting it. I’ve been looking for a Breville, but everywhere I’ve looked, they are out. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to win this baby! Btw, I am also currently on a juice fast. Most people think I’m crazy. It’s great to know there are like-minds out there. You are a wonderful person.

shaina - February 10, 2012 - 12:51 am

I’m expecting my 1st child in may and would love to try this after to feel better and loose some baby weight!

Dina Fischer - February 10, 2012 - 1:03 am

Thank you so much for sharing so much of your personal life and being such an inspiration to others. I am happy to hear that you are already feeling better after just a couple of days of juicing. I have Hashimotos Disease, Fibromyalgia and Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism after the birth of my first daughter over 12 years ago. My health had been declining over the last couple of years with severe memory problems, brain fog, extreme tiredness and aches and pains all over my body. I sought help from a homeopathic Dr. that specializes in the treatment of Thyroid disease about a year ago. She properly diagnosed me with Hashimotos Disease, which is an autoimmune disease that causes your body to attack the Thyroid gland. After taking the prescribed herbal and vitamin supplements and eliminating gluten from my diet for a couple of months I felt better then I had in years. The problem is that this Dr. charges over $8,000 for 6 months of treatment, which I cannot afford. An employee at a health food store recommended that I try juicing to get all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients in a more cost effective way. I would love the opportunity to win a juicer to improve my health and help my girls get the nutrients they need to be strong and healthy.

Janeen Beery - February 10, 2012 - 2:05 am

I would love to win this juicer because #1)my birthday is february 14th and there is no better gift to myself than the gift of good health. I have 2 beautiful babies to live for. and #2….there is no number to….my health is #1 because everything else in life will fall into place with good health.

Elizabeth DelRosario - February 10, 2012 - 3:48 am

I would love to win. I get really bad headaches and I take a lot of pills too, and nothing seems to work. I bought a magic bullet blender but I cannot get the juicer to work (I cannot a ford to buy another one or any appliance). Thanks for the giveaway.

Gina M Maddox - February 10, 2012 - 4:27 am

This would be so beneficial for my husband and I. Recently we watched a documentary about juice fasting that was awesome!!! It is called fat, sick, and nearly dead I believe. Ever since we saw the amazing results from the show we have been desperately wanting a juicer! I think this would help us with our cravings and help us both in our weignt loss journey.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Nicole Apodaca - February 10, 2012 - 4:43 am

I would love to win this juicer because
#1. I get lots of bad headaches (maybe this will help)
#2. I feel i need to take better care of my health and i need more nutrients and vitamins and want to try my best to prevent any type of cancer. And would also love to help my loved ones by having them use this juicer with me :)
#3. I seem to lack energy quite often and i definitely know this will help with that. I would rather drink natural stuff then coffee or some type of energy drink!
Thanks so much lidia for doing this giveaway, you are awesome!
My email is napodaca27@gmail.com

Bethany Blaszak - February 10, 2012 - 5:35 am

What an awesome giveaway! So thankful it has given you relief. Looking forward to juicing too. Thanks for the opportunity!

Pam Taylor Peck - February 10, 2012 - 7:44 am

I’d like to surprise my daughter with one. She’s been asking for a juicer, but our budget hasn’t allowed for a lot of extras lately. Thanks for a great giveaway. I know she’d love it.

Yvonne G - February 10, 2012 - 8:35 am

I don’t know you personally, but everything that I have seen you do has inspired me to be a better person, to want to live a better life, to be who I am & I thank you for that. You have had many trials & tribulations, yet you never gave up. You have so much strength & hope, it truly amazes me. While I haven’t been in your shoes per se, I have dealt with plenty in my lifetime. I lost my Father to cancer in 2002, he was 56 & I a mere 21. It was a very difficult time for me & it still is. This past March, I lost my Mother to cancer as well, she was 52 (days shy of her 53rd birthday). To watch them suffer & not get any better is so heartbreaking. I tried my best & did any & everything that I could for her. She went in for her 2nd chemo treatment & had a bad reaction which caused heart failure, she was on life support for 3 days & then her body shut down. I still can’t even think of it without getting emotional. I don’t want my children to have to go through that, ever. I don’t expect to win anything, I just wanted you to know that you have been such an inspiration to me. I want to be a better person for myself & my family. So changes, no matter how scary they may seem at the time, I am willing to make. Thank you so much for sharing your stories & letting people know that they are not alone.

Kathy - February 10, 2012 - 8:40 am

Oh please pick me! I have been wanting a juicer for sooooooo long and just can’t afford it. I’ve very eager to try juicing and be healthier!!

Quyen Hoang - February 10, 2012 - 9:15 am

From the day I followed you on FB, I have always been inspired by the way you approach life despite all the struggles you and your daughter have been through. I think this is a wonderful way of living a healthier life and sharing the means for those who may not have the means or the motivation to do so. I have always tried to eat healthy especially now that I have 2 boys. It is important to take care of our bodies not only for ourselves but for our kids. I think think this juicer will only enhance the healthy living that I have always tried to maintain. And even better, it will enable me to provide creative ways to give my kids healthy foods!

Cailin M - February 10, 2012 - 9:16 am

I would be so excited to win this juicer, i’ve had stomach problems since i was young and would love to give this juicing diet a try to see it helps. PICK ME PLEASE :)

Renee Klima - February 10, 2012 - 9:29 am

I have been battling fatigue and stomach issues for quite some time. I’ve heard a lot recently about juicing and can only assume how great it is for your body! your testimonial only adds to that and I would love to give it a try!

Katie Picard - February 10, 2012 - 9:47 am

I am desperate for some kind of change, after two years of surgeries, 15 different doctors.. and now ulcers, probably because of all the different meds they give you, I would love to try something organic for a change! Thanks so much for the chance to win, and even if I don’t, I plan on trying this juice detox anyhow… hopefully it works, because I unfortunately eat absolutely zero vegetables… that needs to change! :) I hope I get the same great results you have, and thank you so much for all your generocity and positive words! You’re just great! Thank you! <3 Katie

Amanda Brooks - February 10, 2012 - 9:48 am

I’m so proud of you and all your accomplishments and for taking this step to improve your health. You’re definitely someone I look up to. I know it hasn’t been an easy journey for you and I’m completely in awe at your determination, kindness and encouragement toward others. I would love to give this juicing a go. I desperately need to improve my diet and overall health and I know this would a great way to start my journey towards better health and well being. Thank you so much for the opportunity :)

Lisa - February 10, 2012 - 9:56 am

After trying to have a baby for 18 months now… we believe my weight is the issue.

I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now. And it seems like I get stuck in the vicious cycle. I want to try juicing because I believe it would start a new food cycle for me. When you juice I have heard that helps eliminate cravings and helps to push you to a knew way of looking at food.

I believe that starting a juice fast would push me in the right direction. And that ultimately it would lead us to our goal of having a baby.

Thank you for considering me!

Brittany - February 10, 2012 - 9:59 am

I love how honest and true you are in your posts. It inspires me to be a better person! My mother had a recent scare with breast cancer and it made our whole family take a step back and reevaluate our health habits. I’d love to win a juicer to help us on our way to a healthier life! Thanks!!!

Nikki Watarz - February 10, 2012 - 10:12 am

I’ve been hinting to my hubby how much I want a juicer! Mainly because of the health benefits. I have two kids and I would love for them to learn how yummy healthy foods can be! There are certainly more deserving stories here than mine, but if I won, I would be so grateful! And I would promise to put it to good use!! Good luck on your journey, I am so glad you are feeling better! Thank you for doing this giveaway! :)

Darcie Strobach - February 10, 2012 - 10:14 am

I’m so glad that the juicing is helping you! What a relief not to have those nasty headaches. For myself, I’d like to lose weight and I think it would also be easier on my digestive system since having my gallbladder out. I’m already changing the things I eat out of necessity, this would be another great option. Thanks for another great opportunity Lidia, and just thanks for being you. :) Happy healthy to you always. :)

Meaghan Molnar - February 10, 2012 - 10:19 am

LOVE this giveaway! I’ve been meaning to start living healthier for a while now, but a busy schedule along with chasing after my toddler keeps delaying that. Winning this juicer would definitely be a step towards success, not to mention my son would be thrilled getting to make his own juice!

Jessica Isakson - February 10, 2012 - 10:51 am

I’ve recently done a complete turn around on the way that I eat! After I hit the big 200+ mark I decided it was TIME for a change!! I have NEVER liked vegetables… I cannot eat them, they are so gross, but I recently heard about green smoothies and juicing! I have used my blender a few times and they turn out so good! I can already tell the difference from getting in my recommended amount of veggies. I would love this juicer to help me on my way to a healthier me as well as to give my poor blender a break! :) You are an amazing person for doing such amazing things for all of your fans!!

Rachel W - February 10, 2012 - 11:08 am

I would love to have this juicer!! I want to be able to give my baby juice when he gets old enough, but hate that store bought jiuce has so much other crap in it. Also I could sneak in veggies to give to my husband. :) This would be amazing to win! Thank you so much for the opportunity and I look forward to see how your juice fast goes.

Janelle Schmucker - February 10, 2012 - 11:09 am

Hello! Your juicing diet is so inspiring and I would love to do the same! I am a vegetarian and this just sounds way too fun for me. Keep up the good work!

Haley Martin - February 10, 2012 - 11:09 am

Woo hoo!!! My daughter and I would love to get more serving of fruit and veggies in our diet and a juicer seems like the perfect way! Pick us! Pick us please!

Dana - February 10, 2012 - 11:10 am

I would love to win this Juicer, for our family..we would all get the benefits of using it..the kids LOVE juice, and i think they would get a kick out of making their own juice! and it would be way healthier!!!

Erica Williams - February 10, 2012 - 11:11 am

My mixer SUCKS! I have been trying to get my family to eat more healthy and they LOVE smoothies! So if I had a new awesome mixer such as this one, I just might be able to get them to drink their veggies:)

Amanda Upchurch - February 10, 2012 - 11:12 am

I would love to win this juicer. I recently found out I am pregnant with my first child(after not being able to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years!). I am starving all the time and this would be a so much healthier alternative than all the processed foods I have been eating lately. :(

Laura Wilkerson - February 10, 2012 - 11:12 am

Thank you so much for doing this give-a-way! As a mom who is always busy with 2 small children, I would like to start juicing to make sure that our busy family is getting all the nutrients we need. I also have 2 very picky eaters and hope that this would help them get all the vegetables and fruit they should be eating on a daily basis, and for myself I would just like to feel better and have more energy! Thanks again for taking the time to do this!

Cherise McClimans - February 10, 2012 - 11:12 am

Hello Lidia and Isadora!

You guys are amazing and it’s so much fun to read about your lives and share daily experiences with you :) Lately I have been feeling run down, catching colds (something that rarely used to happen to me), feeling blah and not being as good of a mom as I could be because of it. Juicing would help SO much to solve all of these problems, but the problem is – I don’t have a juicer! If I need to juice something, I have to drive an hour to use my dad’s juicer and that’s just not economical at all – so it rarely happens.

Whoever wins, will get a huge blessing and as always you both have blessed many lives, continue to do what you are doing :)

Kelli Kleindl - February 10, 2012 - 11:13 am

I am planning to start juicing. I am a mess right now and need to do something to lose weight and get healthy. Right now I can’t afford to buy a juicer but I would love to win one! Great job on staying on juice and love your actions! ♥ all the beautiful pictures of Isadora

Fabiola - February 10, 2012 - 11:13 am

Thank you so much for this giveaway Lidia.. I would really love to win this juicer not for me, but for my mom. She has had 2 hip replacements. One in 2010 and the other in 2011.However, we just found out that she needs to have another replacement on hip that was initially replaced in 2010. Of course she hasn’t been herself and cannot move as fast as she used to. She does have a manual juicer but this would really help her spend less time on her feet preparing her morning breakfast. Thanks again for this giveaway and good luck on your journey. God Bless!

Jolie N. - February 10, 2012 - 11:13 am

So excited for you and you feeling sooo good! What a blessing! I would love to win this juicer! My little ones(all 4) love smoothies!!! Thanks for the generous giveaway!!!

Tiffany Richards - February 10, 2012 - 11:15 am

I’m so happy you are feeling better! David and I have just started learning about juicing. I think something is telling us to start b/c for the past week we have seen something about juicing every time we turn around! And then to see your post was like “hellloooo”!!! So we plan to start as soon as we win your juicer!! ** wink wink **

Cynthia Highfill - February 10, 2012 - 11:15 am

Hi, I am so inspired by your story. I am over 200 pounds, and I have a daughter and I am getting ready to adopt my sister’s 3 kids, I have high cholesterol and am borderline diabetic, I just want to be healthy for them.

Stephanie Steele - February 10, 2012 - 11:15 am

I would love to win this juicer. Lately I have been really focusing on food and what I put in my body. I am also very careful about what I feed my boys (ages 2.5 and 1). A juicer would be fun to incorporate new fruits, especially for the little guy who cant eat everything yet since he only has a few teeth.

Amy Redford - February 10, 2012 - 11:16 am

I would love to win a juicer! I am overweight, though i have been taking care of myself more recently and have lost 35lbs so far with diet and exercise. I would love to get more nutrition into my diet and have recently read about juicing! Also, my husband and son are not fond of veggies, but would drink them in a yummy juice.

Kahla Fisk - February 10, 2012 - 11:16 am

I can relate with you on the headaches! Sometimes I have to take Excedrin almost every day. Other times I am lucky to go a couple of days without. I feel like I am abusing my body by doing this! I would love to get a brand new juicer and try a juice fast. Being on a juice fast for 1-2 weeks would also kick start a weight loss for myself. If I go on the juice fast, then my cravings for other “not so good” things will start to fade and by the time I am done I will be ready to eat healthy. I have also had problems with my skin, so I can only imagine that it would probably help that as well! :) Thanks for the opportunity! :)

Linda West - February 10, 2012 - 11:19 am

I’m getting older and I know that I need to be taking better care of myself. I would love to win a juicer to help me so I can be the healthy grandma I need to be.

Erin Sudhoff - February 10, 2012 - 11:19 am

Am currently working green, natural, organic foods into my lifestyle for better health and illness prevention. This would be an amazing addition into my kitchen and continued incentive.

Kayla - February 10, 2012 - 11:19 am

I would be so blessed to win this juicer.

Kelly Stein - February 10, 2012 - 11:20 am

Thank you for the opportunity to win a juicer, you really are so awesome and kind! I would love to win it because unfortunately I cannot afford a juicer right now. I’ve done a ton a research on them, because I SO wanted to start juicing but I just cannot do it right now with our financial situation. :\ I decided to not let that stop me though, and have been using a blender. It’s pretty pasty and thick doing it with a blender but I really have been able to feel and see a difference with how I feel! AND I’m only on day 3 of doing it! ALSO, my son is one big picky eater. I go to great links to mask his veggies and it has become quite the project. He enjoys the juice smoothies I make too and it’s much easier than trying to get creative with how I can mask/hide the veggies for him! Good luck to all of you potential juicers out there! Do not let NOT having a juicer stop you! You CAN do it with a blender, it’s not ideal but it is doable!

I also have gone through the colonoscopy and now have been diagnosed with dangerously high cholesterol and also high triglycerides. It’s almost impossible for me to find foods that are healthy AND inexpensive. I remember talking to you about this yesterday and I’m so proud of you for taking steps on your own to help yourself get better. I’m also another person who doesn’t like taking pills, but now because of these problems, I’m on several pills a day and sometimes I forget to take them. I also was told the last time I had bloodwork done that my Dr. hadn’t seen the medicines not work before…it figures I’d be the one they didn’t work on. I’ve also been getting blinding migraines since I’m 18 and have been hospitalized a few times for them. The worst is when they happen while I’m driving, because I literally lose sight in my right eye with each migraine. I’d love the opportunity to get one of those juicers and see if doing something natural and not as expensive as buying organic or gluten free or any other specification that I have to try and follow to avoid having a heart attack and leaving my little boy. He’s not so little anymore though…at 13 he’s still my baby <3 I worry about that every day…and I'm only 36. Thank you so much for your warm heart in helping give other people a chance to make a difference in their lives as well. ♥ ♥

Kelly Herring - February 10, 2012 - 11:24 am

I am a skeptical person as well but I’ve heard many good things about this diet. My husband and I need to lose a lot of weight. I’m the only one working and we have two kids so money is very tight. Needless to say, we can’t afford to buy anything. So, winning this juicer would be wonderful. :)

Holly Witcher - February 10, 2012 - 11:25 am

I would to start juicing! I have been trying really hard to be healthier and eat healthier. My husband doesnt like fruits and veggies but I think he would hold his nose and drink a drink like this, haha!!!

Tricia - February 10, 2012 - 11:26 am

I am so interested to see how this juice week continues to play out for you. I too have headaches, many times per week. I love the idea of finally breaking through and making changes that can end them. It’s so exciting to hear that you are seeing such positive results.

Thank you, Lidia.

Heidi Campbell - February 10, 2012 - 11:28 am

You are truly an inspiration and I thank you for that.. and I am so glad to see that you are feeling better. I have been looking into this juicer thing for a little while… I just watched “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” By Joe Cross and I HAVE to do this…I know they say that you definitely need a juicer, but I started today with just using my blender..No way I can swing a juicer right now… =)but, I have been feeling so drained and just plain Blah for too long, I have to make a change. So of course I would LOVE to win this juicer. Thank you for always being so generous! Best of luck to everyone.

sara basile - February 10, 2012 - 11:28 am

Hello! I would love this juicer. I have been trying to incorporate green juices in my diet for the past 30 days. I have added a green smoothie to my diet in the morning. However I have to use a regular blender and it just isn’t very practical as my blender continues to leak from the bottom. I want to do the full on juice fast but as you know these juicers are very pricey. I too am trying to fix myself by becoming more healthy. I think it is amazing what you are doing, spreading awareness in this way! And even if I do not win I hope whoever gets these 2 blenders uses them tons! Thanks so much for such an awesome giveaway! Happy Valentines Day!!!

Melissa Schuur - February 10, 2012 - 11:29 am

Your generosity continues to AMAZE me. I would love to be able to win the juicer. I’ve had so many health issues and am in need of energy BAD. I hope to make good use of a juicer, either by winning this or going out and buying one. I think it may be what my body needs. Thank you!

I would love to have a Breville Juicer so i can start my healthy living!!!

Shelley Tiemann - February 10, 2012 - 11:32 am

You are a true inspiration.
I have read where the juice fast will help to reboot your system and get your body back to where it needs to be.
I love veggies and feel that a fruit and veg fast can help my body heal. I was diagnosed with Colotis and need something that would help me and my digestive system get back on track.

I would be honored to win the Juicer.

Bless you and your family.

Melanie - February 10, 2012 - 11:36 am

I would love to win this juicer, because I can relate to many of the things you talked about. I am also a Cancer survivor and recently became a single mother. I am just SO tired all the time. I always have headaches, my stomach is a mess and I have completely lost control of my overall health over the past two years. I have been wanting to try some sort of a cleanse and have heard that fruit/veggie cleanses are the way to go. I can’t possibly afford to buy a juicer right now (I can barely afford my bills), so winning this would SO amazing! Hope I win, but if I don’t then congratulations to whomever does win!!

Kristin Schenck - February 10, 2012 - 11:36 am

Would love to win this juicer!! I make smoothies for my 2 little guys all of the time and I know they would love fresh juice!! So much healthier! HappyValentine’s Day!! kristinschenck@yahoo.com

After having a heart ablation procedure to correct my atrial fibrillation, I am beating a path to improve my health with diet and exercise and would love to give juicing a try. Thank you!

Jennifer Gingras - February 10, 2012 - 11:41 am

I too understand about medications that can wreak havoc on your body. I acquired the Hepatitis C virus when I was a preemie through a blood transfusion, I found out when I was 17 and had gone to give blood. I’ve been through treatment 3 times, the newest this past year and sadly all have failed and I still have the virus. At this point I am just waiting for the next drug to come down the pipeline. I have liver cirrohsis and two children, 2 and 6, I need to be here for. I can’t control how or why I got the virus, I can only try to take care of myself the best I can, I don’t drink or do drugs and have been trying to eat healthier and get in shape. I’ve wanted to try juicing for a while, just haven’t had the money to buy a juicer. I need to take care of my body the best I can and I think having a juicer will help. Thanks for the opportunity!

Stacey Kramer - February 10, 2012 - 11:46 am

Hi Lidia! Like i posted on your facebook wall, you make me wanna Juice!! I read your facebook and blog posts and love hearing how positive you are and how much you love your daughter. Im a single mom of two boys, Aidan is 9 and Ashton is 7. I would love to start juicing but im the kind of gal that spends all her money on her kiddos and it’s very hard to spend the extra money on myself. I would love to juice to lose weight and also see how great it makes me feel! You are so kind and very generous!! I cant wait for the next video of your adorable daughter. :) ps. I love your accent!

Kyla McCormick - February 10, 2012 - 11:47 am

It’s so wonderful to read about someone who is truly trying to take care of their body. I have just recently begun to like fruits and veggies and have been pushing myself to continue to eat better. I am really picky so having this juicer would really help me to not only eat better but be creative. I love being creative no matter what I’m doing and I think my husband would really appreciate it too.
As always thanks for being such an inspiration to us all whether it’s through your photography, your creativity or your kindess <3

Cheyenn Isom - February 10, 2012 - 11:49 am

I would love to win a juicer! Have been wanting to get one for a while… I think it would be a great way to sneak a few more veggies in for my kiddos!

Amanda - February 10, 2012 - 11:49 am

Because my health is important to me. Two cancer scares (both bengin-thank God)in two years woke me up. I had neglected it for too long. I quit smoking 8 months ago, have quit drinking alcohol, trying to eat cleanly and now want to start juicing for it’s benefits. A Breville would help me in my journey to become as healthy as I can on my own. Thanks Lidia!

Christine Ostermeier - February 10, 2012 - 11:50 am

I would love to win a juicer so I can actually start eating fruits and veggies!! I can afford the foods but not the juicer… I really should be taking care of my body since I’m breast feeding my new baby girl xoxo you’re amazing Oh So Posh!!!

Amy Macias - February 10, 2012 - 11:54 am

I would love to win because I turn 30 next month and am trying to start a healthier lifestyle. I wake up every morning at 5:30 am just to go running :)

Dania Echevarria - February 10, 2012 - 12:11 pm

hello there!

I would love to win this juicer, I am 27 and forever I’ve had health issues ranging from obesity, sinus problems, ashtma, migraines, a real mess with my ovaries, depression and all sort of stuff. i was at the point where i didn’t care anymore, but now I know that’s not what God wants for my life, I started exercising with the help of the best friends in the world, and now here I am, trying to make it better, i don’t have a job so I can’t afford this juicer. i watched an awesome documentary about this and I’m sure that it would help me achieve the goal of having a life worthy of my Lord Jesus Christ. You’re truly an inspiration Lidia, be sure that even if I don’t win(although I would love to)here you have a follower for life. blessings to you, your husband and the beautiful Isadora, may God’s light shine upon you all.

Emily Heizer - February 10, 2012 - 12:12 pm

My name is Emily Heizer and my email is heizer_ea@yahoo.com

I saw Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead about 5 months ago and it really affected me. I have struggled with my weight my whole life because I just can’t seem to control what i put in my mouth. I have fought really hard and lost 70 pounds on my own through diet and exercise, but I am going through something now where I am just starving all the time now and my weight is struggling. I have had migraine headaches (with the vomiting, can’t see, can’t sit up) for years. I have a knee injury and arthritis in my knee which now keep me from being able to do cardio. I lost my partner over a year ago and have struggled even more so with depression and horrifically with anxiety. The man in Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead… I saw myself entirely in him. And I don’t want to be that. Literally, just this week before you posted about the juicer, I had been looking at the Breville Juicer online and had even made a special trip to Costco because I wanted to try and put my faith and focus in something and this felt right. But they are so incredibly expensive and it’s not something I can afford on my own. So I just keep looking, and trying to decide if it is something I should risk making payments on, or if the stress of that will counter balance the benefits of being able to juice. I am just trying so hard to put hope into something, and maybe it’s silly to put it into a juicer, but… if it can change your life, then maybe that silliness is worth it.

Britni Slusser - February 10, 2012 - 12:14 pm

I teared up reading this post! I have been following you on FB and I must admit i’m skeptical about alot of things like this, but WOW! It sounds like you have benefited so much already.

I work full time, go to school at night and have 2 adorable little girls…I get exhausted very fast and would love to try juicing to give me an edge again. It’s not easy to eat well while being so busy, I’d LOVE to try juicing!

Bambi Piercy - February 10, 2012 - 12:17 pm

I have so many health issues going on right now. I have IBS so my stomach is always hurting. Also, right now I am going through medically induced menopause for my endometreosis. Because of the shots they have me on I was just diagnosed with Osteopenia…my score is very close to osteoperosis. :( I am only 36 years old and the single mom of three. Healthy juices and something to help my bones would be awesome!

Kim Fraga - February 10, 2012 - 12:20 pm

I am overweight and just now making a “lifestyle” change (not diet) to lose my weight. I am borderline diabetic. I lost my mother to diabetes, heart disease and colon cancer Jan. 28, 2010. I don’t want to be her, not in that way. I’m taking my life back! I want to start making juicing part of my “lifestyle” change.

Kaela - February 10, 2012 - 12:21 pm

I have IBS and gastritis and recently my doc found precancerous cells on an exam. He said I need to boost my immune system. I’m hoping to find something that can do this!

Melinda Walters - February 10, 2012 - 1:05 pm

Hi Lydia,
Thanks for being so awesome and giving these away! I’m glad to hear that this is helping you to be pain free and making a big difference in your life.
My husband is a diabetic and tries to eat healthy. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and I’m always having some sort of pain. Like you, I live with constant headaches. I get up with one and go to bed with one. I don’t like taking prescription pain meds, so I usually live with it. I take BC Powders, but they mess my stomach up and barely take the edge off. I would love to win one of these, so that we would have a way to make a healthier eating lifestyle, and hopefully get rid of some of the toxins in our bodies and be healthier and happier.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win. You are so kind!

Shellie Smith - February 10, 2012 - 1:08 pm

Today we learned that my dad has stage 4 kidney decease :( and needs a better diet. I am planning on kidnapping him for a few weeks to teach him all about my new diet. It would be awesome to surprise him with a Breville juicer! Thanks so much! Praying that you continue feeling much better!

Cindy Sommer
Hello Lidia and Isadora,
First, Thank you for all you do for us, you will never truly
know how you and Isadora touch our lives daily, thru your blog and facebook, for this we are truly blessed to know you.
Thank you
Now Thank you for sharing the Juicer and better health with us all.
I too get terrible headaches and have had spinal injectons also.
My last one, last May affected me similar to your most recent experience. Not sure the treatment is worth it but I also follow the advise of the Doctors………..maybe you hit on the answer
“Natural” is better, good luck to all.
Thanks again ladies, we love you :)

Angie - February 10, 2012 - 8:01 pm

First I want to say, Good for you for taking care of yourself and looking for another way to get healthy. I’ve had my own health struggles, and all traditional docs know to do is fill out another prescription. I truly believe food can heal us, and I’m proud of you for being proactive! I would love love love to win the juicer. I’ve thought about getting one so many times and have just never taken the plunge. It would definitely be used. :) Thanks for a great giveaway and for sharing your story and experiences with the rest of us.

I would love to win a juicer as I suffer from Migraines as well. I also do not like to rely on pills and that seems to be what the Dr.’s want to do is bounce you from pill to pill. I won’t take some of the pills ever again as some made me feel like I was having a heart attack :( juice is natural and good for you which is great!! :0) thank you for being so thoughtful of us and sharing your experience! <3 and oh yeah, I BELIEVE in miracles <3

Teresa Schmid - February 10, 2012 - 10:04 pm

This juicer would be great as I am currently eating a lot healthier and am trying to get my kids to eat healthy too! I have currently lost 22 pds and still need to lose 53 more pounds. I eat nothing but salads and I think doing juices would help my cravings between meals.

Janae - February 10, 2012 - 11:30 pm

Hi! I love your blog and I love the looks of this juicer. I worked night shift in the NICU for over 5 years, constantly switching my schedule from night to day, as I have four small children of my own and most of the time had no babysitter when I got back home. (my hubby and I worked opposite of eachother) I’m now at home with my own kiddos (yay!) but now I’m trying to get my body back to normal – a normal diet, not so much (or none!) caffeine, sleep on a somewhat normal schedule, not push it for such long stretches, etc! I am so curious if your juice diet would would help my body get back on track, as well! Either way, thanks for the thought! Thank you for being so thoughtful and sharing!! <3 <3

Kortnee K - February 10, 2012 - 11:56 pm

Wow! This would be the PERFECT kick start to getting healthy & back on track. Beauty starts within, feeling good about yourself and something like this could definitely help ya start to feel great! Thanks for the opportunity! :)

Heather S. - February 11, 2012 - 2:08 am

Thanks so much for yet another amazing opportunity! I would love to win this juicer because I have been hearing amazing things about the benefits of juicing. I think it would help me to lose some weight, get healthier, and hopefully gain a lot of energy. Plus, maybe I can sneak in a few extra veggies for my kids in their juice :) Thanks for being so positive and helping others so much!

Heidi Kugler - February 11, 2012 - 3:00 am

I’m so inspired by your experience with juicing and I really hope it can help me too!! I am 23 years old and I’ve been sick with multiple chronic illnesses since I was 13!! The most recent and profound of which has been fibromyalgia. It’s really kicked my butt this past year and I want to reclaim my health! I’ve started seeing a nutritionist and holistic doctor and for the first time in so long, I have hope! I’ve seen more doctors than I can name and every single one has tried to treat my symptoms (with pills) without addressing the root of the problem, which only caused bigger issues.
I would LOVE to try juicing, and I’m convinced it would really help me, but I can’t afford to buy a juicer because my camera broke a few weeks ago and I am desperately scrambling to come up with the cash to get another one since photography is the only work I can do with my current medical condition.

Kellie Maloney-Ford - February 11, 2012 - 3:02 am

I would so love to win this. I’m batteling cancer myself right now and hear there are so many benfits to juicing. Going to pray I am 1 of 2 picked :-) “If we ask not we want not!”

Nancy Mejia - February 11, 2012 - 3:07 am

After many years of trying to conceive, on June 10, 2010, 3 weeks after my mom passed away, I found out I was pregnant. I had a beautiful and healthy daughter on Feb. 14, 2010. Without trying, I got pregnant when she was 9 months and now have a handsome and healthy son. Unfortunately due to past medical issues, and back-to-back pregnancies, my liver isn’t doing so well. This would be amazing to have so that I too can cleanse and also give the juices to my children since they are full of vitamins and I want them to always be healthy.

Stephanie Smith - February 11, 2012 - 3:09 pm

First of all thank you for giving so many the opportunity to win a juicer…so very kind of you to help another person/family achieve better health!! Of course a juicer is something I have been looking to purchase recently so without a doubt it would be for the health of my family and especially for our twin girls and baby boy. After experiencing infertility on my long journey to get pregnant with my twins back in 2007 I was led on a path of new health discoveries…I have become very passionate about teaching my kids from the get go to make healthier choices. Like so many parents my kiddos are the light of my life and I want so much for them!! This would be an amazing opportunity for us. <3

Heather probst - February 11, 2012 - 4:27 pm

I want to be healthy for my kids and to teach them to be healthy too! My family has been trying to switch to a healthier lifestyle by being more active and making better food choices, I have suffered from chronic pain, depression and fibromyalgia for years, but have noticed a significant improvement so far and would love the chance to try juicing!

Stephany Hall - February 11, 2012 - 5:53 pm

Im 38 and while Im not in nearly as much pain as I feel you are in….I desperately need to change my ways, this seems to have been amazing for you and you have been my inspiration in many other ways so I’m game here too!

Claire Smith - February 11, 2012 - 6:19 pm

I have been wanting a juicer for some time now. They are pretty expensive so it’s been put on hold. I want a juicer because of the amazing health benefits of fresh juice. I recently watched the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, and it inspired me to pursue a healthy, plant based diet. I have been vegan for about two months now, and let me tell you, I feel absolutely great! I love exploring vegan cuisine and cooking up delicious meals all with out the cholesterol, saturated fat, and health risks that come from consuming animal products. When you look at the typical American diet and the fact that heart disease and cancer are two of the top killers in the U.S., it’s not hard to see the connection. Both of my grandmothers died from cancer and my grandfather died of heart disease. I want to do everything i can to keep my family healthy. A juicer is one step closer to that goal. Hoping to win this amazing giveaway! Thank you so much!

Jessica Salme - February 11, 2012 - 7:46 pm

I would love to win this juicer! I have 4 beautiful kids and would love to get healthier for them and I think by winning this juicer I would be able to do that. I do have diabetes, overweight, and come from a long line of family that has many different conditions which goes from high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, glaucoma, and heart diseases. My oldest kid is 7 and my youngest is 3 months so I want to be able to get healthier and be around longer for my babies as well as my hubby.

BTW: Love your work and amazed at how strong you are for what you have gone through with your baby girl and yourself. I really appreciate all that you do and all the words of advice you have to offer your fans.

Take care and God Bless!!!

krissy lynch - February 11, 2012 - 9:29 pm

hey! i am entering this because i have been thinking of getting a juicer for a while and after reading about how wonderful it made you feel as been inspiration to me. cancer has surrounded the family around me and it has caused me to be much more weary of what i eat. i am a firm believer in the natural remedies of food, and how eating right can affect you. and hey.. if i can loose some weight in the process.. well im not against that as well! haha.

Kari Greene - February 11, 2012 - 11:14 pm

I would love to win this juicer! I am currently breastfeeding my little girl, so I have no desire to juice like what you are doing….but since getting pregnant with my daughter I am much more conscious of what I put in my body. And I think this would be a great way to make sure I consume enough fruit and veggies. You are so generous and love following you on Facebook. I love to read your bits of inspiration. Be blessed!

amber - February 11, 2012 - 11:59 pm

I just turned 30 the Summer of 2011 and have been suffering from migraines for 11 years now. I have been on every medication known to man and nothing seems to help. Quite honestly, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. So, now I’m beginning my journey to find a natural cure!

Katie @ Katie Without Restrictions - February 12, 2012 - 10:21 am

Oh my, this comes at the perfect time! I’ve had juicing on my mind for the past few weeks and on Friday I borrowed a friend’s juicer to try out and see if I like it. Which I do! This is something that I would just love to incorporate into my life. All your pictures are stunning, and delicious looking!

Alexandra Lasota - February 12, 2012 - 11:11 am

Looks so good. I’ve been planning on starting to juice more fruits and veggies. Healthy way to get them in everyday! :)

lisa morse - February 12, 2012 - 12:03 pm

I would love to win this juicer for my mom. She had breast cancer back in 2008 and she wants and needs to eat healthy! She has been talking about buying a juicer and I would love to give her one. Thanks! Lisam2880@yahoo.com

Rebecca Kugler - February 12, 2012 - 12:25 pm

I would love to win the juicer! I believe it would inspire me to start eating healthier since its so easy to just juice for a snack, or entire meal instead of being tempted to eat something with empty calories. Plus, its so fun to experiment with different veggie and fruit combos!

Anita - February 12, 2012 - 1:39 pm

Ok…well simply put..this juicer could restart my health from having twin girls! It has been a long struggle with medications as well as surgeries and I have been thinking of juicing to get healthier for my babies and myself. You have definitely inspired me– thank you!

Do you believe in miracles?

As my daughter is about to turn 7 in a a few months, I can’t but shake my head in disbelief how far she has come!! Many of you know my story and why I am so passionate about life, about enjoying the little things in life and just live everyday with a grateful heart. Today I wanted to share with you my daughter’s story and just like her mama she is a survivor. I have heard it many times say that she looks wise beyond her years and I think you can see in her eyes that indeed she is wise beyond her years. When I was 5 months pregnant with her I was hospitalized first for a very bad sinus infection, then while pregnant with her I had to have my appendix removed and a few days after that I was hospitalized for over a month with an infection called C-Diff. This infection is caused by an imbalance of the intestinal flora and most of the times is caused by too many antibiotics. Usually C-Diff is cured with some very strong antibiotics and it usually lasts 3 to 4 days. I was not so lucky and neither was Isadora. The doctors said that my stomach sounded like a cemetery, I had a tube in my nose to drain all the gastric juice and everyday instead of getting better I was getting worse. My body started retaining water and no matter what the doctors tried I kept retaining more and more water and in less than 2 weeks I gained 100 lbs. The amount of pain I was in is hard, hard to describe as my whole body was so swollen and nobody could even tell that I was pregnant. All this time my little Isadora was trying to grow as I was just 5 months pregnant. Because the pain was so unbearable, the doctors gave me a morphine pump and very strong pain pills and nothing would work!!!

I remember a lady from pastoral care in the hospital would come everyday and bring me books that I could try to read to Isadora so despite the stress she was suffering because of all the pain I was in and all the medicine, that she would hear my voice and know that everything is ok. Since I was not able to eat anything for my stay in the hospital, I had a PIC line in my arm so that Isadora could at least keep on growing. All the ultrasounds where showing that she was not growing as much as she the doctors wanted to and that was mostly because of the fact that I was just lying in a bed, not being able to even have water, no food and a lot of pain pills. I had to have lots of x-rays and CT scans while pregnant and there was really no way to protect Isadora while they did all the x-rays because the doctors were very concern about my colon and they wanted to keep an eye on it so it would not burst open. Despite all the things that doctors tried to do to get my body to eliminate the water and start working again, nothing seemed to help and we finally sat down and the doctors told us that the only option left would be to transfer me to a new hospital, remove my colon and deliver Isadora at 5 months. They told us what to expect when a baby is delivered that early and it was a scary, scary thought to even think what it would mean to deliver her at 5 months. The night before the doctors said they will transfer me to a new hospital my body started eliminating some water and I believe I lost over 11 lbs one night. When the doctor walked in that morning he said well we gotta get ready for the transfer and I said but look my body has eliminated some water. He didn’t believe me thinking the nurses gave me a water pill and I remember him going outside the room to read the notes. I honestly to this day can’t explain how that happen but I can tell you that for me that was a miracle!!!

I got discharged a few weeks after that but I still had to take very strong pain pills as I was was in severe pain still. And all this time my sweet little Isadora was still trying to grow despite all the strong medicine that it was of course going to her too.

I went on with my pregnancy but I still had to see a high risk pregnancy specialist once a week to make sure everything looks ok. May 20th came and I had to have a C-section and all I remember is that I didn’t get to see Isadora as they rushed her to NICU. All I could hear is that she was born with a hole in her chest and they could see her heart beat. They didn’t keep her in the Nicu for long because she seemed to have been doing ok. My little girl that had already been through so much was born with most of her sternum missing. But she was healthy otherwise and of course my heart broke to see her little body not perfect but I was thankful she was alive. Everything seems fine up until she was 7 weeks old when she started having difficulty breathing. We didn’t think much of it but they she was gasping really hard for air. We took her to 2 different hospitals at the emergency room but after they would give her some steroids she would be better so they said that we shouldn’t worry about anything, she will be fine. We take her back home and she was getting worse and worse and starting turning blue and we kept thinking… well the doctors said not to worry. But after a few hours when nothing seemed to help we went to a different hospital and this time the doctor decided to put a camera and look in her little airway. The exam showed that inside her airway there was a hemangioma growing blocking 80% of her airway. Most of the time hemangiomas are left alone as they will grow for a while and then they will go away but in Isadora’s case she had to have it removed as that would have put her life in danger to have something growing inside her airway. The doctor was also part of a team of doctor researching a new syndrome PHACES and when she saw the missing sternum, the hemangioma in her airway and also a hemangioma on her bottom lip, she realized that Isadora had PHACES syndrome. While we were hospitalized, Isadora had to undergo lots of tests to see what parts of her body are being affected by this syndrome. Poor little girl was poked around and so many nights we could not even feed her and she was crying so so bad but because she had to have different procedures they didn’t want her to have anything to eat.

There is a 75% chance that children with PHACES syndrome will have brain malformation and only 5% that they will have a missing sternum so when the doctors did the brain test I was sure that she will have some malformations of her brain. And she did, when the doctors read me the finding I just looked at them and didn’t even know what to make of what they were saying. Even though it was not very severe what they found, they said that they can’t tell me if she will ever be able to walk, or talk or have a normal childhood. Her heart test came back as abnormal too. As much as I wanted to have at least some good news about my little girl, there was nothing I could hang on. At 7 months she had to have surgery to have her hemangioma removed and the pictures you see bellow is her recovering from that surgery!!! She would just have these big eyes and look at me like saying : “Mama save me:(” and I could not do anything about it.

Because of the hemangioma on her lip and also to make sure the one in her airway will not start growing, she was on steroids for the first year of her life. If you see her all chubby in the pictures it’s not that she was a chubby baby but because the steroids made her look puffy. She was such a good baby but I honestly don’t remember her smiling too much. She was behind with her gross motor skills and I was starting to get worried when at almost a year she was not able to roll over.

I tried to research doctors online to see if they can help Isadora with her missing sternum and if there was anyway that they could try to fix it. I called doctors around the country and finally I found a doctor at Boston’s Children Hospital that said he will try to do it even thought he has never done a surgery like this before. We flew from Washington state all the way to Boston and after a 9 hour surgery the doctor said we can go and see her. In the middle of the surgery one of the doctors said that the only way to fix that would be to take some bone from her scalp but the doctor that I was in contact with said: ” I am not going to go out and tell the mom that I will take bone from her scalp!” They took a bone from a cadaver and he explained to me how they tried to put the bone in there in the hopes that it will grow as Isadora grows. Again, no guarantees, just wait and see. Well, the surgery was about 7 years ago and so far the bone they put in there has grown with her. Does it look perfect?? Not at all. In fact when I see kids and look at their sternum it looks so very different to me as Isadora’s still looks like something is missing there. I tell her that an angel came and kissed her there:). Will she have to have more surgeries in the future? Honestly, I don’t know!! I was worried that as she started doing sports and mostly gymnastics since her collarbones are shorter that somehow it will hurt her or stop her from doing certain things. But so far nothing seems to stop her from being a normal kid.

She had a few other things that the doctors could not figure out what was going on but all that is behind her now. She has been through so much and I know that everything happens for a reason and she will do great things in life. Why am I sharing her story with you? Well, because I know that each one of us has struggles in this life, some more than others maybe, but if we do the best we can despite our circumstances, if we are patient and never give up, miracles CAN happen!!! I was the biggest skeptic when it came about miracles but I can tell you that I witnessed way to many miracles in my life to still remain a skeptic.

Isadora is my little miracle!! I do worry at times about her since this syndrome is fairly new and they don’t have any adults to know how long they lived or how the syndrome might affect kids as they grow older. But despite the worry I make sure I let my daughter know each day how amazing, beautiful, kind and talented she is. I don’t take any day for granted and each day with her is a miracle!!! She is so smart and even though she is not even 7 yet, she reads big chapter books, she is so funny and silly and had I given up 7 years ago and be bitter about why she is not perfect like other kids, I might not have been able to enjoy her as much today!!!

Bellow is a little slideshow with some pictures from when she was born and then I am ending the video with pictures of her today!!! I am in tears every time I look at those pictures when she was in the hospital and my heart will always, always be so so very grateful for the girl I have today!!!

Renee Saenz - February 6, 2012 - 8:32 pm

I too have miracle children and everyday is such a blessing that at one point you were just sure you would never have. Isadora is truly a gift from God and it is wonderful to see the love and awe that have for her.

Clarissa - February 6, 2012 - 8:38 pm

This is beautiful and heartbreaking and beautiful. I cannot imagine what you have been through. Watching your slideshow reminded me of when my oldest daughter was little. She was hospitalized 4 times in her first year of life for breathing issues- it was so hard to see her in the little hospital “crib”, hooked up to IV’s. I remember asking “why? why does our daughter have to go through this” but I continued to tell myself that we had it good. We knew that her stay would be short, she would get to go home with us. She was growing and thriving. And that there were parents on the pediatric floor who could not say the same thing. And I had to remain positive. Martina McBride’s song is one of my favourite songs- I cry everytime I hear it. Your strength and postivity is inspiring. I hope that my talent can someday be admired as yours is. Your daughter is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing and for being an inspiration.

Andrea Machado - February 6, 2012 - 8:41 pm

Isadora and you are truly an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story with us. My promise to you is to appreciate and never take for granted the gift I was given with my three children and husband. We should all be so lucky to go through a quarter of what you have gone through and come out such a positive, passionate, determined and loving human being. God bless you and your family!

Sara - February 6, 2012 - 8:42 pm

Such a beautiful story. I cried through the entire thing. So amazing to see how she has grown and overcome at such a young age. It’s beautiful to see. Thank you so much for sharing. You continue to be such an inspiration to me.

BritneyD - February 6, 2012 - 8:43 pm

Beautiful, such an inspiration you and your daughter, and your whole family are. God bless you and the ministry you provide to so many!

Jesica - February 6, 2012 - 8:45 pm

She is definitely a miracle & I am so heartbroken at the story at the beginning of her life but I am so GLAD that she is a fighter & that she is doing so much better. I love to hear about what she is up to & see her beautiful pictures that you take of her. You are both so BLESSED to have each other :)

Sandy - February 6, 2012 - 8:46 pm

What a wonderful story Lidia! Thank you for sharing and for both you and Isadora being an inspiration!

P.S. I like your new blog layout! <3

Debbie - February 6, 2012 - 8:47 pm

This story touched my heart. I know the pain of having your newborn in NICU hooked up to all kinds of things, not knowing if your child will live or die, and having to leave the hospital without the child you carried for months. My son was full term (40 wks) and spent the first week of his life in NICU due to cerebral asphyxia (lack of oxygen to the brain); he got stuck in the birth canal. For the first 2 days, no one was sure if he would make it. Doctors warned us about possibilities of respiratory problems and learning complications. I was so worried. My husband and I worked with him a lot to try to help him advance as a child should. He is now 17 months old and hasn’t had any problems that we were warned of. He is a miracle to us just as Isadora is to you. :) She looks just like you and she is absolutely beautiful!! You are very blessed!! :)

Jamie Desjardins - February 6, 2012 - 8:48 pm

Miracles come in all shapes and sizes, and Isadora is CERTAINLY one! She is just PERFECT the way she is (honestly, she is stunning). I had a rough delivery of my little girl (she was perfect, I had a LOT of issues and spent a long time in the hospital, not nearly as long as you, but long enough) and I know about miracles! I thank God every day that He let my baby girl (soon to be 7 also!!) be okay when she was born, and that it was me that was sick. I too blew up like a balloon with water…lost 35 lbs. in 3 days! It was crazy and horribly uncomfortable, so I know how you feel! YOU are a miracle, and the fact that you still look to God and praise Him is wonderful! God Bless you, Isadora and all of your family! You are a beautiful soul and the Lord knows this. <3

Fran mouser - February 6, 2012 - 8:51 pm

BRANDY HENDERSON - February 6, 2012 - 8:52 pm

I know what it is like to have miracle kids, I wasn’t supposed to be able to have kids and I have an adorable soon to be 8 yr old and a very cute 5 yr old. To give you some hope though my aunt was severely handicapped and they could never tell my grandparents what was wrong with her. The doctors told her that she would never live to see her teenage years and boy were they wrong. My aunt was 27 when she died, she lived fourteen years after the age they said she would never make it too.

Jennifer Barker - February 6, 2012 - 8:52 pm

I knew you had been through a lot, but I had no idea of how much the both of you have had to deal with. The slide show at the end is simply amazing. Your daughter is so beautiful. You are one lucky mommy and she is one lucky girl!! Thank you for sharing your story with us.

I read this story just now with my miracle baby sleeping away on my chest. When we found out that our baby has heart disease at our 20 week ultrasound I was very overwhelmed. But my husband told me something very powerful. He told me God gave us ‘this’ baby. God doesn’t make mistakes. He strategically placed my Libby with us. She is 6 months now. Your story brings me so much hope. I will pray for your beautiful girl. Your family is an inspiration!

Vera - February 6, 2012 - 10:11 pm

Every time I see her pictures I think she looks like a famous super model and i’ve never ever thought a single moment she was anything but perfect. And everything you post about what she says is so cute and intelligent that I never thought she had any kind of a disease. She’s a walking miracle indeed.

you and Isadora are both such amazing people! Isadora is such a beautiful, smart little girl. This story is amazing to hear, and good to hear since I have had a rough time with the surgeries we have had to have with the little girl I nanny. This has helped a lot. You are an amazing mom, it shows in everything you do. I loved the video you made too, made me want to cry. Thank you for sharing this. I hope one day to meet you two.

Samantha - February 6, 2012 - 11:45 pm

This is Beautiful! Its so hard to live for the moment when there are so many other things going on. You just keep going and tend to forget the important things. Thank you for telling your story so myself and others can see we need to slow down and be Thankful for what we have!

kari nichols - February 6, 2012 - 11:47 pm

Oh Lidia…
There are just no words! So BEAUTIFUL.. You are so blessed!

Missy - February 6, 2012 - 11:57 pm

Okay after I just cried my eyes out reading and watching that video…wow….you are so right. We all have our stories, times, things we go thru but It’s how we deal with those adversities that define us. You are not only a fighter, but a true winner who inspires us all. God has a big purpose for you and that sweet girl.
My husband, who is a police officer, was hit head on by a drunk driver while on duty. He was life flighted and died twice that night. Both times he was brought back. He was given a very grim chance of living, less than 5%. Massive injuries, including brain, tore his nose off, broke his orbital socket of eye, ribs broke, hand broke..basically his face and head were a mess. Not only did he defy those odds but he returned to being a police officer, something they told him he would NEVER do. Life sure makes you look at things in a completely different way when you have faced death square in the eye dont you think. Thank u for sharing your story and keep inspiring all of us!

Houda - February 7, 2012 - 12:13 am

So inspiring. Thanks a lot for sharing. Your daughter looks wonderful. GOD bless you both.

corina - February 7, 2012 - 12:16 am

Thank you for sharing such an amazing story! You both have been through so much and yet to look at the 2 of you in pictures you would never be able to tell. The smiles on your faces says it all :) I work in the health field.. photography on the side.. and your story is just unreal. I see so much.. and yet I can’t even imagine you gaining 100 pounds of water in 2 weeks.. You poor thing. The tremendous beating your body took.. and little Isadora as well. You have been a true inspiration. Little Isadora is such a Beautiful young lady and lucky to have you as her momma!

Maren Maatz - February 7, 2012 - 12:18 am

Lidia you was so strong during the time Isadora was so ill. Both of you are miracles! I have also two miracles. My twins were born in the 29. wks of pregnancy. Alexander needs one month oxygen but Tyler had more respiratoy problems. He needs oxygen for 10 month. Now they are 6 years and in few month they become schoolkids. The time flies and the problems too. Sorry for my bad english. It isn’t so good! Greetings from Germany. Hugs Maren

Keri Baker - February 7, 2012 - 12:34 am

Lidia, you are such an inspiration, and God gave that beautiful Isadora got your fighting spirit! You are both walking miracles and such witnesses to so many! Your blog brought tears to my eyes, of course. I miss y’all so much and wish I could hug you! Give Isadora my love too!!!!!

Patsy J Lander - February 7, 2012 - 12:46 am

I am so grateful that God has so many miracles to hand out! My son was born 6 weeks early and spent the majority of his first 4 years in the hospital with respiratory issues. I remember so many days of just asking God to please let him keep breathing! Sometime around the time he turned 6, the problems began becoming less and less. He was diagnosed with Hypoglycemia at age 5 and learned only on how important hid diet was in relationship of how he felt. They become so much more in tuned with their little bodies than we ever give them credit for. My beautiful son, Lance turned 39 on February 2 and hasn’t has so much as a cold in over 30 years! Healthy diets, lots of love and joy and they become remarkable children! He is so creative, spiritual and an absolute blessing to his family. He is now a Daddy himself and it just amazes me at what he has grown into from where he began!

I see Isadora flourishing in her environment and I know she will too learn that gratefulness for our health is something we can never take for granted! How blessed we are that God chose our babies for those miracles!

Mary Clark - February 7, 2012 - 12:56 am

Angie Ochoa - February 7, 2012 - 12:28 pm

I am always in awe of the miracles that God gives us, by way of our children. I have an 18 year old son who was born with only 1/2 of his heart. By the time he turned 3, he had had two major heart surgeries (basically bypass surgeries…to take the superior and inferior vena cavae directly to his main pulmonary artery, rather than through the right side of his heart), as well as FIVE strokes! With two of the strokes, he was paralyzed on the entire right side of his body, and lost his hearing and speech. He also started having seizures, and is still prone to having febrile seizures, so we have to really monitor him when he gets a fever. Eventually his hearing and speech came back, but it was never the same as it was before the strokes. He struggles now, as a special needs teen. He also lost MUCH of his cognitive abilities, so he didn’t get the “common sense” stuff that most of us are instilled with. He will be on medicine for the rest of his life, and won’t be able to play sports like he REALLY wants to. He will likely have difficulties pursuing a career like most people are able to, but he has a good eye for photography, and has a good grasp on numbers, so between accountant and photographer, we think he’ll be just fine. :-) We are grateful that God chose to give him to us, and that he is still alive at age 18. We know that God has a special purpose for his life, just as he does for yours and your daughter’s! Thank you for sharing such an incredible story! I am always so thankful to read testimonies of God’s goodness.

Brenda Mason - February 7, 2012 - 12:39 pm

That is such an amazing story. Both you and Isadora are strong, amazing ladies. With all your trials and challenges, it is very clear that you both were meant to be here for a special purpose!

Farrah - February 7, 2012 - 9:29 pm

What a heart felt story. I can’t imagine the pain you felt watching your little baby go through all of this. What a true miracle you have. She is just beautiful…. inside and out. You can see that in her soul. God has something special planned for that little girl. Thank you for sharing and reminding others to be thankful for not only the blessings in our lives, but the challenges too. For we learn so very much through these times, as well.

Jennifer - February 15, 2012 - 2:28 pm

That has got to be one of the most touching blogs I’ve ever came across. A mother’s love for their children is one of the most amazing things a mother can ever experience. I look at my two living children every day and I thank god for them. Even though one of my children was born sleeping… I’ll never forget the beauty she brought to my family for the short day we were with her. You are an amazingly strong person and I hope your daughter continues to have many more wonderful years in her life!

Jeri - February 22, 2012 - 4:48 am

As a mom, I cried watching your video – I now totally understand where your inspiration comes from…you totally capture the love in “the eyes”…so glad the doctors in Boston could help – I’m a few hours from there, so if you ever are back in the area and need anything….

Jennifer - February 29, 2012 - 3:18 pm

I loved reading your story. I have a miracle of my own who I am greatful everyday for. They are such a blessing beyond anyone can ever imagine. Praise God for his wonderful blessings.

Elsy - March 3, 2012 - 6:45 pm

Im in tears. I have 3 kids, and I can imagine the desperation a mother goes through, when their child is hurt and there is nothing you can do to make them feel better. Y’all are both amazing!! Beautiful story, thank God for all of his blessings. I hope he continues to bless both of you. :D

Glenna Walker - March 3, 2012 - 7:11 pm

I had twin boys (who were in the same sack) on May 27, 1987, delivered by c-section because one had the tube wrapped around his neck five times and he had diaphramatic hernia, meaning his whole lower stomach, intestines, kidneys, etc., had developed on top of his lungs, preventing his lungs from growing. His name was Joshua. My other twin Jared was fine. Josh underwent four hours of major surgery immediately after he was born, doctors didn’t think he’d make it through the night. He went through countless surgeries to try and repair the little body that just didn’t develop right, he was brought back to life many times and know one told us until it happened in front of ours one day while visiting, a mistake of the nurse. Joshua lived 13 months, never coming home from the hospital, before he died on June 29, 1988. We were told his trach got clogged while he was being suctioned, but nurses had made mistakes before by not turning his oxygen up beforehand therefore stressing him out so badly he was unable to recover. We suspect this was the case as he had been running 105 fever and his heart just wasn’t strong enough to fight back. Joshua was our little fighter and it was a miracle God shared him with us for 13 months and two days.

Isadora is perfect! It’s not what’s on the outside that counts anyway, but just look at her, she is one of the most beautiful little girls I have ever seen. I don’t have to tell you to thank God for her every day, I know you do. You are so blessed. Thanks for sharing this story! Isadora is a true miracle…♥

Rachel - March 3, 2012 - 7:15 pm

I was fortunate enough to have two beautiful healthy full term (and over) boys. But I have been a NICU nurse for the last 7 years. I see parents come through every day with obstacles to over come and admire parents like yourselves who overcome the biggest hurdles for those little people in their lives. Your daughter is just beautiful. 7 years late…congratulations.

shandell thompson - March 3, 2012 - 7:31 pm

Becky - March 3, 2012 - 8:49 pm

I usually don’t leave comments, even though I am always following your fb page etc. But tonight I really felt that I had to.
You are a life changer… you have allowed your struggles to not only change you for the better, but to change all of us for the better. I wept as I read and truly was moved to be so much better. I have been blessed with 4 healthy children and I need to make sure like you, that I do not take each day for granted. That each of them know how much I love them and cherish there every breath. I have been so impressed with your warmth, kindness and wisdom over this past year… and your courage, courage that life can be what we make it. To find joy in the journey, and that their really is a higher power who loves us, watches over us and send us his miracles.

May he continue to do so for your beautiful little angel!!

Martha - March 26, 2012 - 7:20 pm

I love the way you are so open and honest and willing to share your deepest, most treasured and most painful and joyful moments with all of us strangers on here… It is not often that someone can feel as free as you to open yourself and your life, as well as you daughters, to us. I love that about you. By you sharing life events with us, you have no idea how it helps all of us deal with our own stresses and troubles. Knowing that you have overcome so many things and are still here with your beautiful little girl makes us all realize that miracles DO exist, and that anything is possible. Bless you for sharing your world with ours. You don’t realize the good you do, and how wonderful you make us all feel….

Linsey Hathaway - May 17, 2012 - 3:44 pm

What a beautiful story and I’m praying for her now, while she’s back in the hospital. She’s the most gorgeous young woman I have ever seen. She definitely seems wiser beyond her years and will grow up to be an amazing person :) Thank you for sharing this with us.

fatima vazquez - May 17, 2012 - 4:21 pm

Wow! I have a knot in my throat by just reading this. It can only take a strong, exeptional, outrageous person like you to share something so beautiful like this :-) isadora is a perfect little girl does not matter how many obstacle came across in her journey she is a strong lil princess and we all know that she is special in some kind of way. she is the inspiration of all of us. She will be fine in no time qnd dispite of all her conditions
I also have a miracle baby who is 2 month and a half. I have juvenille diabetes and when i was 36 wks preg of my little girl it was also a second blessing since i have a 21mth old boy. Well my last visit to my ob was very tragic as he found out that my baby was under stress so he rushed me to the hosp. I had 5 dics in and out of the room checking on my lil princess as she was not breathing or responding i was very nervous . They gave me 50/50 of a chance that one of us would not make it if they waited any longer. At the op room i could not even swallow waiting for her first cry. 15 mins leter i heard her scream . She was born with respiratory distress and after that her heart rate rose to 320 and they could nit bring it down i thought i lost her there but my faith was so over the top . Once they schocked her everthing went to normal. she spent a moth qt NICU.
But we all have faith that isadora will be just fine. We all have a miracle baby in our lives ;-)

Rebecca Thompson - May 17, 2012 - 4:46 pm

This story touches my heart in ways you could not imagine, I do believe in Mircacles, GOD has a reason for everything, I just started reading you pages about 7 months ago or so, I remember the storms and your amazing Isadora drawing pictues and selling them for the proceeds to go to the victims….You have an angel living with you…she in my mind is an ANGEL that GOD has put here on earth to show so many of us that will take the time to notice that the only way to live is to care about and for others less fortunate than ourselves.. I feel blessed to have met you thru facebook, your post are always inspiring and you yourself have been thru so much…could it be that YOU ARE AN ANGEL ALSO??? I think so. Thank you for all you share and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.

Christy Geller - May 17, 2012 - 5:52 pm

I faught very hard to get pregnant and with my 2nd pregnancy I found myself pregnant with twins. At 20 weeks I found out that my son would not survive due to polycystic kidney disease. I carried him to term to give his sister her best possible chance, but was warned all the while at any moment he could go and take her with him. He held on until 34 weeks and after he was born lived for an amazing 7 hours with no functioning kidney. I am so grateful I got to say goodbye and so grateful that his sister is just fine. Little miracles, both of them. 2 months after their birth I was back in the same hospital after suffering with C-diff for over a month, it took 6 days to get me well enough to come home. I know how horrible that disease is and I’m so sorry you suffered with it as well. I am praying for your sweet Isadora and hoping she will overcome once again. I can tell you I would go through what you did 1,000 more times if it meant my son could be with me. I pray that in the end, all will be well.

Michelle Pierce - May 17, 2012 - 6:25 pm

Lidia and family. My heart goes out to you all. You are blessed with this little girl and I am keeping your family in my prayers. You are an inspiration to all of us and are truly amazing to me. Bless you and that little ray of sunshine, Isadora.

Jenny George - May 17, 2012 - 8:20 pm

This might be one of the most amazing stories I have read. Lidia, you have so many people praying and hoping! Isadora is the most beautiful little girl too! :) I have a little boy named Eli who is 2 now and has a rare blood disorder called ITP. He too had a rough little start to his life after he was born in March 2010. He is currently headed into a “remission” stage so I will only have many more years to wonder what might be next. I try to stay positive, but I do know it’s hard. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know this time is hard, and just wanted you all to know, I am thinking of you.

Isadora is absolutely beautiful ! I hope she gets to feeling better soon, and that God gives the doctors the knowledge to figure out what is going on with her. You and your family are in my prayers !

Rachael Niles - May 18, 2012 - 7:24 am

Your story is amazing. God bless you and your family. Stay strong for her, she needs you. Praying for her to get well soon.

dina - May 18, 2012 - 9:39 am

Crede in miracole si hold on to hope.

Sherri Burgan - May 19, 2012 - 10:21 am

My heart is aching for you Lidia :(
Thank you so much for sharing your story of Isadora’s young life and her struggles. I knew she had something wrong when she was a baby but reading her story touched me and now I can understand what a strong and special little girl she is and what a very very incredible mommy you are! I have a son with SN and I feel for you and continue to pray for her to recover and for your health and strength. You and Isadora are a true inspiration!

it makes me feel blessed to have had a healthy child – my sisters beautiful daughter who was born with a heart defect is now 16 and simply stunning she awaits a valve transplant next year fingers crossed this will be the last for a few years to come..

Karen - June 7, 2012 - 11:35 pm

A miracle for sure!! I’ll pray for your beautiful daughter ( and that she is)!! What a stunning beautiful little girl. We are so lucky to have such wonderful medical teams to help. I had two healthy kids, but only 7 months ago I had to endure seeing my 14 year old daughter get major back surgery. I found it very tough seeing her go through this and not be able to do anything more. I can just imagine how hard it must have been for you. I will pray for you also, sending you lots of strength (but you already have a lot). May God bless you and your family!

Fetterman says you should never hesitate to ask a pharmacist about a persistent, minor symptom that might be bothering you. burberry outlet CHICAGO (AP) A federal judge sentenced twin brothers Tuesday to 14 years in prison each for running a nearly $2 billion North American drug ring, agreeing with prosecutors to drastically reduce their sentences as reward for their cooperation against Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and other Mexican cartel leaders. Pedro and Margarito Flores, 33, were portrayed by prosecutors as among the most valuable traffickers-turned-informants in history. With credit for the time served awaiting sentencing and for good behavior in prison, the brothers could be out in as little as six years. Security at sentencing in U.S. District Court in Chicago was tighter than usual, with extra security checks outside courtroom doors and a bomb-sniffing dog sweeping for explosives. To protect them, neither of the twins’ attorneys was named in court. Chief U.S. District Judge Ruben Castillo said the twins brought “devastation” to the country. “But for your cooperation, you’d be leaving here with life sentences,” he said. He likened Americans’ sense of security to walls, telling the twins, “You devastated those walls, you knocked them down.” Castillo did say the brothers would be looking over their shoulders the rest of their lives in prison and out in fear that a cartel assassin was near. “Even though I am not going to sentence you to life, you are leaving here with a life sentence,” he told them. “Each time you start your car (when you are out of prison), you are going to be wondering, is it going to start, or will it explode.” The Flores twins, wearing olive-green clothes and with closely cropped haircuts, sat at a defense table, both of them tapping one foot nervously. Just before the judge imposed a sentence, each walked to a podium separately to speak. “I’m ashamed, I’m embarrassed, I’m regretful,” Margarito Flores said. “There is no excuse.” Pedro’s voice appeared to break as he apologized. “I wanted to thank the United States (and federal agents) … for allowing the opportunity not to spend my life in prison,” he said. For security reasons, the brothers had pleaded guilty to a count of drug conspiracy behind closed doors at a 2012 hearing. Tuesday was their first public appearance since they began to spill their secrets six years ago. Prosecutor Mike Ferrara had asked for a sentence of around 10 and no more than 16 years. He noted that the twins’ cooperation led to indictments of Guzman and 50 others, and they had reached out to federal agents while “at the very top” of one “of the most dangerous cartels on earth.” The twins began cooperating with agents in 2008 and engaged cartel leaders for months, sometimes switching on recorders and shoving them in their pockets to gather evidence. They continually faced the prospect of death, Ferrara said. Page 2 of 2 – The brothers’ father, Margarito Flores Sr., is presumed to have paid for their cooperation with his life. He was kidnapped in Mexico as word spread of his sons’ cooperation, according to government documents. The 5-foot-4 twins initially put together a less-ambitious trafficking operation, but their trafficking careers soared after they left Chicago to live in Mexico around 2004. In mid-2005, they met with Guzman in his secret mountain compound to cut major drug deals, government filings said. The brothers ran their operation from a Mexican ranch. Their network stretched from its Chicago hub to New York, Detroit and Washington, D.C., and to Los Angeles and Vancouver, British Columbia. Castillo pointed at the brothers’ success in the drug world, saying they displayed skilled that could have made them successful in legal careers. “There are a lot of things you are, but stupid is not one of them,” he said.
