I am not sure about other photographers but many times i feel like the shoe maker with no shoes. Even though I am a photographer I find that I have less and less pictures of my daughter and that’s because I am always trying to get the perfect lighting, perfect pose, perfect editing. So in an attempt to create some “not so perfect” memories for Isadora I picked up the camera and there we headed for a mother and daughter afternoon. We made reservations for a Princess Tea Party at an amazing place in Plano called Into my garden. Isadora had pink tea and a flower shaped sandwich and for desert a yummy strawberry ice cream sprinkled with magic sprinkles. We sure had an amazing time and even though the light was not perfect.. no natural light in there what so ever…. Isadora’s excitement is showing even through the not so perfect pictures
.. Now for a change I just wanted to take not the so perfect pictures as life is not always perfect.. life is as is and this is how I wanted to captured these pictures of my daughter.
Dirty and funny faces, cute little fingers with remnants of last week’s nail polish, her favorite princess shoes that are all coming apart
… these are a few of my favorite things and this is my daughter not quite a big girl but not a little girl anymore. She will be 5 in May…
